Introduction

In SteemALive community, we continue to explore different ways to try and increase our ability to support more members through curation. Our membership is growing everyday, and so are the number of posts expecting votes from us. We are really eager to provide much support, but our resources are limited. After doing a leadership meeting last weekened, we came up with yet another project which we hope will be useful for community support in the longer run. This project is called SteemALive City Curator. Here is how we hope to run it.

What is SteemALive City Curator Program

SteemAlive City Program is a program where city dwellers that are steemians contribute steem periodically to a city acount which will be powered up and used to support all participants with votes. The idea is borrowed from Save2Saor and the Steemit regional curator Program. Each week, all participants will send an amount of steem - for example 5 Steem - to the city curator account. The total amount is powered up and used to vote users in the city that are making the weekly Savings. Here are a few questions and answers about the project.

. 1 How long will the contributions be made? For at least a period of 1 year.
. 2. Who will be in charge of the account and voting?? The city coordinator will be in charge of powering up the contributed savings and voting with the account.
3. What happens after 1 year? Each participant can decide to withdraw their savings or continue to save more?
4. How much steem can I send every week? The city coordinators suggested 5 Steem per week. How ever, each city can agree to increase the amount or reduce it.
5. Where can I get the steem to contribute? You can earn steem from posting regularly. You can change your SBD to steem or even buy steem with fiat. Your city Coordinator can help you to easily buy steem.
6. Can I send my savings for 1 year all at once? Yes, that would be great.
7. How will this project receive support to grow faster? From time to time, the account will receive delegation from SteemAlive, any of the City Coordinators or Country Reps. It may also receive outright donations of Steem from the community as support.
8. Can I withdraw my savings before 1 year? No. All savings are powered up and wont be touched for at least 1 year.
9. How will the curation work? The city coordinators have been instructed on how to make sure the voting is fair to all participants.
10. When is the contributions starting? June 1, 2021. By that time, all the city coordinators will have their accounts ready.

Our Vision for this Project

We are really eager to see this program grow. We are looking at a nearest future when each city will have at least 100,000 SP in their city account. It might look difficult now, but crowdfunding is the most powerful way to build and grow resources. Since we are really strengthening and growing in city groups, we can use the curator account to support all members. There are many new people joining us and we are still recruiting more. If we can have city accounts supporting new and old users, it will ease the pressure on SteemAlive and even other curator accounts. We encourage all in each city group to support this project to the best of their ability. We want to see each city account grow to vote in double digits $$$ or more. This is our vision and we want to look back fews years from now and be proud we made this effort.
