Hi friends, good morning to everyone. Hope we are fine this day? I am very fine from my location and my night was also went well. It was alot peaceful with the cool weather occasioned with the heavy rain and power suppy. I woke up around 5:34am and with so much gratitude because I know today would be great.

It was a rainy Night with a heavy breeze that was waving my curtins from side to side by the time I woke up by 2am.
I quickly got from bed to closed the curtains.
Lately, the power holding company have not been very generous with lights.
As against about 12hours we do have light before, in the past 5days, we have light only for about 4hours daily, and no one knows the reason for this.

Goodmorning and welcome another calm, cold and rainy day, the weather is so cold that i want to lay in bed and not wake up today..lol...
But i have to because i have some things to do today. I woke up first around 12am because i slept early due to the breezy weather, the rain was about to start so they cut the power supply. I slept back around 4am, which i over slept and woke up around 5:40am. I said my short prayer and went straight to the kitchen to prepare what the kids will take to school. I prepared yam with egg sauce.
I will be starting home today because all my other colleagues i was suppose to work with said they wouldnt be working today and i can't work alone. I will wash some clothes once the power supply comes back. I will keep you guys posted.

I have had a measure of success in preparing for today's meeting. I have other things I should do in relation to our forth coming memorial on Saturday 27/ 03/ 2021 by 6:30pm.
Before I proceed with those things, I had a serious need to top up something -hungry and I had this as my breakfast this morning
Portage potato, boiled egg and my cup of tea.
The portage potato is prepared with scent leaf. It is very delicious and very good for ones stomach as a result of the scent leaf in it.
I want to prepare soup today and I will need someone's help, a volunteer helper. I will update you people on how it goes. See you in my subsequent posts.

Greetings friends, how are you doing? I trust your day is going as planned. This is my first lid report. My night was chilly 'cause it rained throughout the night and I slept like a baby. I woke up by 5am, had my devotion, came online to get the latest update. I was on it when my phone went off. I had my bath and dressed up. Light came and I'mm powering my phone now. My sister is done preparing lunch and it's time to eat.

Hello Steemians, So I left the house by 1:30pm and on my I saw some group of people gathered and loud noise was coming out from there. I got closer to the place, guess what!!!
Two men are seriously fighting now in Immaculate road. One is a tricyclist (keke man) and the other is the owner of the tricycle (keke). He held the tricyclist and has refused to let him go until he pays him for the weekly returns he's been owing him for 2weeks now. The tricyclist is saying that the tricycle spoilt and that he used the money he made this past two weeks to fix the repair. The owner of the tricycle wouldn't listen and now the fight is still on. What's my own!🤷 Let me just take my pictures and be on my way 😊

Okay, guess what's happening!!! Abia State Governor came to Immaculate today. Before he arrived, some Officials and good citizens were already at Immaculate awaiting his arrival. Report states that he's around to inspect the building project going on Immaculate road Aba. Something happened, a woman was trying to draw the Governor's attention by running to him weeping. The men on uniform caught her and gave her some slaps naming her a saboteur. After much attempt to shut her up, she continued creating scene and these got the policemen angry and they detained her.
Then when the Governor was gone, they took the woman away. I wasn't able to really capture her face properly 'cause myself I was scared for my life even.

So sorry for the poor lady @graciee20. Something always creeps my mind with these government officials. I wonder why they're always guarded like a God meanwhile in the western world a government official can move on the street, chats and interact with the citizens freely. These people are really abusing power and these are some the reasons we don't grow. Instead of listening to the poor lady she was beaten up. Who knows if she had heard something wanted to safe his life. No one cares. That's the world we live in.

I stood for a while waiting to get a taxi and it was difficult because there were so many people and taxi drivers were making choices for the destinations they wanted to go. Not wanting to leave my friend behind I waited and fortunately a bus arrived and we all got inside. There was so much fun on the bus and I almost laughed out my lungs.
Considering I had not eaten since morning and have an appetite of eating some fried meat I stopped at mile 3 to get some pork meat to eat. From here I will be going home.

Today has been extremely boring, i have not been happy per say because there have been power supply all day. After i went to drop the kids, it was still drizzling at that time. So i got back and ate the remaining potatoes that i cooked for the kids.
After eating, i decided to take my bathe and get ready for my day. I was support to go to work today but my other colleagues said they would be going, so me alone cant go and work. I stayed home and wait for the power supply, still nothing. My phones went off. I had to go get fuel for the Gen so i could power my phone. I will be going to bed once i am done with this report.

My day was a good but cold one . Wow that mean looks so delicious my friend. I have never known how ogbone taste in the mouth. Maybe I will try it out someday.

Getting home very tired, cold and exhausted, first went to the bathroom and freshened up. This made me feel warm and fresh. I joined the family in the merriment as they were singing a birthday song to my mother. Unfortunately there was electricity cut and we all sighed. I presented the pork I bought we ate along with the cake my sister had brought and the food prepared.
After dinner we chatted and laughed in the parlor while waiting for electricity to return but it didn't till now. We're in total darkness like yesterday. I can't study now and I'm lying in bed about to sleep. This is my last LID entry for today. Good night dear friends
