Introduction

We are delighted to announce winners of our week 1 contest for the Steemit engagement challenge. Last week, we announced our contest where participants are encouraged to promote Steem in their city and share the result of their promotion effort. Here is the original contest post.

We had a total of 25 entries. We have carefully checked them and are ready to announce the winners.

How the winners were selected

First of all, we made sure to check the basic rules of the engagement challenge such as plagiarism, club status and use of bots. The 3 users all followed those rules. Then we checked additional criteria such as the following:

1. Quality and Quantity of engagement: The 3 users above made the largest number of quality engagement as follows:

2. Result of Promotion: The 3 users above did not just participate in the Promotion just to make a post. They actually produced results by recruiting, mentoring and assisting new users to join us. Below is how they performed:

3.Promotion Branding: The 3 users did very well in using branded materials to promote Steemit. Branding is very important for the image of Steemit as a standard platform. They used one or all of the following in their promotion: Steem-branded T-shirts, banner, Fliers, and Face cap.

4. Quality of Publication: The top 3 users did excellently well in their presentation. They were detailed in their promotion report. Their posts were properly formatted. They answered all the questions asked and their work is completely unique.

The above are some of the things we checked. Of all 25 entries we had, the above 3 users stood out and performed excellently well more than the rest.
