We happily announce a contest which we will use as a way to encourage our members to join #club5050. This contest will run throughout the remaining days in October. Close to the end of the contest, we will announce another one for November. Unless you have been inactive on Steemit in the last 7 days, you must have heard about #club5050. So here is the details of a contest which we wish to use and drive membership to this club within our community.

The Contest - #club5050join&win

Remember that the essence of #club5050 is to make you power up more steem than you transfer out. Each time you transfer some steem or SBD from your wallet, you should immediately power up a corresponding amount or more. Once you do that, use the #club5050 in your next post, you do not need to make a special power up post for it. @steemcurator01 will likely give you extra votes after monitoring your transaction history in the last 7 days.

• You must not have powered down in the last 1 month and will not power down at least 1 month after.

• You need to make at least 2 posts per week in our community, one of them must be your post after powering up which must have the #club5050 tag
• Join our curation trail
• You must Upvote and resteem this post
• We have created a tag to help us monitor our members posts and give them prizes and special support for participating in this contest. The tag is: #club5050elite. Our Admin will check this tag every day for member posts. So your next post after the power up must have these 3 tags: #club5050, #club5050elite, #steemexclusive.

Contest Prize

1. For each 50 Steem you power up, you automatically win 1.5 Steem. For example, if you powerup 100 Steem, we send you 3 Steem.

2. We will monitor the #club5050elite tag which is used alongside #club5050 when you make the next post after power up. We will give at least 2 community trail votes to 2 of your posts after the power up. (Our trail is worth $4.5 at 100% vote)

3. At the end of each month, we will give prizes to the top 3 most powerup participants. We will announce and determine the nature of these additional prizes at the end of each month.

4. We will think of other ways to support you if you participate in this contest, such as by increasing the contest prizes.

Conclusion

We call on all SteemAlive members to join #club5050. When we all power up constantly and lock our steem in SP. we help to increase the price of Steem in the Steem markets. It is for our benefit in the longer run. So please, try to build up some steem and join #club5050.

Note: We expect all Admin and City Coordinators to take the lead in joining #club5050. When they do, it would be easier to motivate members in their city. We will be looking out to give extra rewards to our leaders that take this project and contest serious.
