Introduction

As part of our efforts to strategize and run this community more efficiently, we recently made a proposal about SteemAlive City Coordinators (SCC). SCC's are active users of Steemit that will help to manage the activities of Steemit users in each city. There main role is to facilitate grassroot mobilisation of new users for Steemit and encourage local networking. You can read more details about this project here.

In our proposal post written few days ago, we asked interested candidates to apply for this position and we have quite a number of applications received. We have carefully vetted these applications and approved qualified candidates to start work in this new capacity. In this post, we are presenting these applicants to our beloved Steemit platform, SteemAlive community, @steemcurator01 and to @steemitblog. We hope they will work hand in hand with the steemit admin to recruit new users, retain both new and old users, keep users in their city active and updated with information.

To show that you have accepted this role, You are to make an acceptance post, stating that you have accepted to work in this capacity. You can outline some of initial things you plan to do as the SCC such as organizing small weekly meetups and other thins. In your post, please hold up a white sheet of paper with the text "@username" "SteemAlive City Coordinator, (City.)" and "current date" For example, the Coordinator for Abuja will write this:

After publishing the post, each SCC will drop a link to their post in the comment section of this post.

Conclusion/Invitation to apply.

The SCC is another initiative from SteemAlive community to help us achieve our vision. We want to take Steemit to every doorstep. We want to recruit, mentor and retain new users to Steemit. We hope to power mass adoption of Steem blockchain and we have the confidence that the SCC's will help us accomplish this vision.

This project started in Nigeria. So we are calling on users in Nigeria who are still interested, to apply for this position. We also call on users from other countries that are willing, to join this initiative. To check the requirements for application, visit our SCC announcement post.
