Introduction

Its another new week - and another opportunity to write in a fresh challenge. Good morning friends and welcome to our contest for the week. We thank you all that participated in our contest for last week. We are going through your entries and will announce the result soonest. While we wait for that, here is a brand new contest - a writing challenge for the week. We call it WriteAright 2.0. Here are the details.

This Week's Contest: WriteAright 2.0!

WriteAright 2.0 is a writing challenge that will take 6 days to complete. Each day, participants are expected to make at least one post, from a list of available 7 topics. Of course, each person is free to make more than 1 entry in a day. But at the end of the challenge, each participant should have at least 6 different posts. You can win more if you write more than 6. So here are the topics and what you need to do

Here are the 7 topics. Choose at least 5 from them. If you can do the 7, then why not. It gives you an edge over others.

• Topic 1: My Lifestyle Choices - Here are 5 brand of Products I use regularly

What you need to do: Write in detail about some of the product brands you make use of regularly. You are expected to write at least 5 of them. They are Soap, Cream, Perfume, Detergent, Disinfectant, Toothpaste. Include information like Which company makes this product(check the product container)? When did you start using it? Why do you like it? Where do you buy it? How much does it Cost (in naira and Steem)? Any alternatives assuming the product is not available? Use only original pictures of the products.

• Topic 2: Local business Review: Write in detail about a business in your city

What you need to do: We want you to review a local business in your city. Tell us their address (What3words coordinates needed). Review at least 4 product they sell. Details should include the price, and some features of the products. Rate the business using any 4 criteria like Location, Customer care, Pricing, Environment, etc. Click here to see a sample.

• Topic 3: Weekly Food Diary: My 3 square meals on a typical day!!

What you need to do: We want to see the 3 meals you consumed on a particular day you choose. We want to see your breakfast, lunch and dinner. How much (in Naira and Steem) does each meal cost? around what time did you eat the meals? Which of the meals did you enjoy most and why. What nutrients does the food provide (e.g protein helps the body to grow new cells). At least describe how to prepare one of the meals.

• Topic 4: Learn with Steem: A tutorial on how to .....(e.g play a piano)

What you need to do: In this post, we want you to show us a skill you have. Teach us how to do anything that is a skill such as painting, knitting, weaving hair, do tailoring, make shoes, play an instrument, etc. Present your tutorial in steps and describe each step very well. Include images, but do not put too many images, just the important stages of the tutorial is needed in pictures.

• Topic 5: Stay Healthy: By drinking enough alkaline Water!

What you need to do: Write in detail about Water. Why does the body need water. What is acidic water and why should we avoid it. What is alkaline water? Why should we enough alkaline water. What are the sources of drinking water in the community where you live? What is your own source of drinking water? About what quantity of water should we drink daily? Be detailed and include any other information from your research

• Topic 6: My Town in 10 Pictures - Government Buildings in my City

What you need to do: We want to see any building owned by the government. It includes schools, hospitals, Banks (Government banks include Union banks, First banks, etc), Post Office buildings, Local Government buildings, Primary healthcare centers, etc, You must include What3words coordinates.

• Topic 7: Steem Promotion - Your recruitment and mentorship activities

What you need to do: Engage in promotional activities and make a report about it. You must recruit at least 1 new user. What are your promotion methods. How did you meet the new user and what was their initial reaction before they signed up. What are your promotional materials? What are your challenges in doing promotion? Any other thing you want to write about Steem Promotion? Be detailed

• Quality is King: Be detailed. 350 words is the minimum, but you can do much more.
• Number of quality Comments: Try to make at least 20 comments.
• Formatting: Justify alignment and centered headings make your work neat.
• Originality: You will automatically be disqualified if you are found plagiarizing.
