Introduction

Hi friends, we are delighted to welcome you to week 1 of our contest for Steemit Engagement challenge season 2. Just as you all know, Steem needs a lot of marketing in order to grow. We all should be responsible for the growth of Steem through creating awareness and Promotions. Thats is what this contest is all about. Here are the details.

About the contest

You heard about Steemit and joined as a result of some form of promotion. If you want Steemit to grow more and remain the number 1 social blockchain, you must get involved in Steem Promotion. Help the Steemit team to create awareness and get more people to join us.

What you need to do

Promote Steemit in your city, street, neighborhood, workplace, online or anywhere you find yourself and write a post about your promotion efforts. Your post should be detailed. Try to answer the following questions:

• What methods did you use in promoting Steem (e.g word of mouth, social media, etc)
• Did you use any Promotional materials and branding? (fliers, Branded Tshirts, Banners, etc)
• How did people respond to your promotion efforts?
• What are the main challenges that hinder users from joining?
• Where you able to sign up new users? If yes, how did you convince them to join?
• What are the main challenges you faced during Steem Promotion
• Suggest ways we can overcome challenges to Steem Promotion.
• If possible you, try hard to recruit one user and assist them to do their introduction post. This will also help you to score higher Take pictures with your recruit if any

Rules of the contest

1. Publish your post in SteemAlive community using any language of choice
2. Make sure you are at least in club5050.
3. You post should be at 350 words long. It should not be shorter.
4. This contest will start on 00:00(UTC) Monday 6/6/2022, to 23:59(UTC) Sunday 12/6/2022.
5. Drop the link of your entry post as a comment on this post. Tag and invite 2 of your friends.
6. Resteem and vote this post. Follow @steemalive account.
7. Do not use old promotion pictures. Plagiarism of any sort will be detected and you will be disqualified.
8. To verify that you actually took part in steem Promotion, Take a picture of you holding a plain sheet, with your Promotion date and #steempromo written on the sheet.
9. Your new recruit, if any, should mention your username in their introduction post
10. Include #s2w1e-steemalive, #steemexclusive and your club status among your first 3 tags.

Note: Remember that the aim of the engagement challenge is to promote quality engagement. If you want to do well, visit other participants entries and engage meaningfully with them. We will check the engagements too when determining our eventual winners

Contest Prize - 21 Steem

We have reserved at least 21 Steem for the eventual winners. We will share them in the following manners:

1st Position: 8 Steem
2nd Position: 5 Steem
3rd Position: 3 Steem
4th-5th Position: 2 Steem

Note: The 1st - 3rd Positions will be included as the best performers at the end of the week to receive additional support from SC01 or SC02. These positions gave the best entry, and engaged the most with other participants. So watch out and engage much with other participants
