It's my pleasure to present Lagos City Steemalive Co-ordinator's Report for the week spent so far. We had a couple of activities and had been able to achieve a couple of things and I cannot wait to share it with you guys.

Recruitment

We had 4 new recruits who joined us this last week via our various promotional activities that we do about steemit. I promote steemit both online and offline on daily basis, and these Promotions get weekly returns of newbies joining steemit.

Retention

In a bid to retain and maintain the activeness of the Lagos Steemians, I hosted a meetup on Sunday 9th May 2021.

Lately, there had been an increased number of inactive users in Lagos, so the Meetup was to help fix up the issues they are having, explain steemit better to them, as well as to create a bond/friendship among members.

The meetup was held at Unilag Lagoon Front Resort Akoka Lagos Nigeria. It is a resort center and it was actually cool for us to use.

We were about 23 persons in attendance that came for the Meetup, and everyone that attended was glad they did.

• Testimony of personal experience on steemit by @ammyy

Everyone were happy they attended, because their questions and confusions were cleared. Their lost vibes for steemit were revived and they all promised to get active again and take steemit serious.

We also had some light refreshments of chops and soft drinks, though the camera person @anyenaya1 forgot to capture that part.

The meetup was so educative and fun-filled. After the Meetup , we took a group picture, as seen below.

@linteg and @fortch signed up immediately after the Meetup, because of the impact of the meetup. We have one other person who attended the meetup, he is yet to sign up just that he is traveling this week for something very tasking, so he wants to be settled before signing up.

To also encourage and appreciate everyone for coming for the Meetup, I had sent some steems to everyone in attendance, as seen in my below screenshot.

Our Plan

• To get a pamanent training center (Steemit Office)
• To print steemit customized t-shirts for every Lagos Steemian.
• Radio Station Publication and Constant social media paid ads to reach a wider range of audience in our locality.

I have started taking steps on achieving all these, and I believe in a short while they will all be achieved.
