INTRODUCTION

Warm greetings everyone in this space.
I hope you all have been coping with the weather condition of this time. It's been so cold here but I am coping quite well.

In this week of the Steemit engagement challenge, we have been told to review a local business around our area. That is just what I want to do. I am going to review a shop where drinks and provisions are sold. Drinks is the major item sold here. The provisions are just addition to attract customers. The name of the shop is DAMIS DRINKS AND PROVISIONS STORE.

The shop is located at Ile Iya Oyinbo, Mayowa Nursery and Primary School, opposite College of Health Technology, Oda Road, Akure, Ondo State.

Like I said earlier, the major items sold at the shop are drinks. This are alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Wines of all kinds are sold here. Also provisions like beverages e.g bonvita, Milo,milk, etc, food items such biscuits, noodles, tooth paste, spaghetti, and so on are all sold there.

The products sold in the shop are arranged in shelves, some e.g the sachet provisions are hung on the door while some like biscuits are kept inside a show glass.

Oral B toothpaste is the one I use, so after checking the expiry date, I took it and paid for it. It only cost #500, which is about 4STEEM. The price was nothing different from the market price.

Based on my shopping experience, the shop is just a mini shop but very standard. It does not have everything one may need to buy but it is well furnished and neat.

The first time the owner came to the place and I saw her arranging her stuffs. When I saw it was drinks she wanted to sell, I was like why drinks. I felt the market won't pay much because the location was too quiet for such. But along the line, she added provisions and some food stuffs to make it boom and that made things better.
As for the price of the goods, it is moderate enough. It is within the price others around the street sell. It is just a little addition that is added to the market price so a little profit can be realized.

The quality of the few products sold are cool. All the food items have NAFDAC registration number which certifies a product to be edible. Also the expiry date on each of the items shows they are safe to buy and seun or eat.

Conclusion

The lady that sells here is just about two months old in the location. She moved from another state where she sold same products to Akure. From what I see, she is serious with the business which makes her punctual to work everyday. She has been able to get few customers including myself. She is very friendly as well. This is a major quality for business growth. She's got it.
