MY DIARY

Good morning fellow steemians scattered all over the globe. It's a good thing to see another as some people have not been able to see this day. I had a good rest after tiring traveling yesterday. It's a very busy morning here in the town of Douala, everyone is on the move for one thing or the other. I firs did morning prayers then made the first LId entry for the day (see pictures below) Today I plan to buy the beads I need for the train in Yaounde and be on the road again today for Yaounde. There will be no office work for me today as I have a lot of work to do.

It was a very bright Thursday afternoon in the town of Douala. Earlier during the morning hours most business places were locked as today is the clean up day for the town. So at 11:00am everyone opened up and it's all busy. after taking my lunch I went to Mboppi market to buy beads.

When I had finished doing my beads selection I went to the onion market. I wanted to check the business atmosphere and see if I could engage again in the business. It was very hot in the market everywhere busy with buyers and sellers negotiating price for onion or garlic or Groundnut. This is the largest Onion market here in Douala and people come from other towns to buys from here and even send to Tchad and other countries.

Gradually the day was coming to an end after a very busy day. It was so tideous looking for the beads as some materials I wanted were scarce. I had to move to every bead shop in the market for about 3hours. Finally I was able to buy some as seen in the pictures below.

In the evening I had my supper made of cocoyam and huckleberry as seen on the picture below. Then I went and sat in front of the gate outside taking cool air, feeling the breeze pass through touching my face and watch cars pass by and people as well. It wat calm and busy evening as I could hear music playing from snacks and bars around. I enjoyed the atmosphere for about an hour before going back in to the house, had a few minutes to chat on the social media and do my LID timeline for the day before sleeping. That's how my day ended. Thanks for reading.
