The Diary Game Season 3: Never Ending Season || How I Spent My Day || Sunday 23rd May, 2021 by @timiwei

Good day steemians, Trust everyone had a fabulous weekend. Today is the last day of the weekend and for most people, it's a day spent in the presence of the Lord worshipping our Maker. My day started with a prayer, and I got out of bed by 7:30 am, quite unusual of me. So many factors contributed to that among which are that; today is a work-free day so no issue of going late to work and secondly, I also made sure that my morning activities were done before going to bed last night especially house chores such as ironing of clothes, sweeping etc. Waking up late means I was already hungry before standing up so I quickly fixed myself breakfast (bread and tea with stew) to spice things up a bit. By 8:30 am, I had already taken my breakfast, had my bath and was ready for church by 9:20 am. I attend Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Victory Parish to be specific in Ore Town.

I got to church a quarter to 10.00 am when the service had already started. I quickly found a place to sit and took part in the service quite well. It was an awesome time in the presence of the Lord. The church closed at about 11:30am. However, it had been announced during the service that all the youths were to wait after service. So briefly, we had a meeting for about 20 minutes where we deliberated on an upcoming programme focused on the youth.

I got home around 12:40 pm and was already hungry (of course I don't ever joke with my stomach). A meal of Nigeria Jollof rice had already been prepared by my mom who had come back from church earlier on(my mom and I attends different churches). I quickly did justice to the meal and rested for about 30 minutes. Then I proceeded to writing my lesson notes which I hadn't finished yesterday. It took me about two hours to complete them. Then a movie (Transformers : Age of Extinction with Mark Wahlberg starring in it) was on the TV so I settled down to watch it..it was a quite high octane sci-fi movie. A movie worthy of the name "transformer". When it was 4.00pm I was on my phone monitoring scores of matches been played in the EPL. The last round (week 38) of the English Premier League (EPL). Lots was at stake particular the last two places for the next year champions league keenly contested by 3 teams (Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester). The matches were quite entertaining and enjoyable. By 6.00 pm, all matches had been decided with Liverpool and Chelsea joining the champions Manchester City and also Manchester United ( the Europa league finalists) and I was back home. From this time on, my usual evening routine started such as fetching water. And by 7:38 exactly, my girlfriend came around to see me( the best part of my day). We talked, laughed and enjoyed each other's company up until 9:30 pm when she had to go home. By 10:00 pm,I had taken my bath and was already on my bed ready to sleep but remembered I had to update my friends here on how my day went.
