HOW MY DAY STARTED

I woke up by 6:00am in a very good mood and said my morning prayers. I decided to restyle my hair because the previous style was old and just didn't fit the occasion. Plus I also needed to look good for the camera. I cleaned my room, did my morning beauty routine, prepared and ate breakfast. After doing my morning activities and dressing up, I set out to meet my fellow corps members at the meeting point. We took a few pictures as we were waiting for our vehicle to arrive.

The vehicle arrived at 10:30am and we started our journey which too about 30 minutes. The drive was fun as we were singing, dancing, and making fun of each other. We arrived at Ikogosi warm springs by 11am and the Ilawe-Ekiti corpers executives paid for our entrance.

The first order of the day was the sent-forth ceremony of the Ekiti South-West LGA NYSC General Secretary and the only 2020 Batch B Stream 1 corps member in Ilawe-Ekiti which is me. The MC said the opening prayer. After which I was called to give a speech. After my speech, the community executives presented a gift to me. After which, we played some games.

The second order of the day was seeing the cold and warm springs. A tour guide took us rounds the facility and gave a brief history of the place (which I believe is folktale tho). We moved round to see the different springs and their meeting points.

HOW MY DAY ENDED

I got home by 3:30pm. I had my bath, dressed up and set out again to meet some of my fellow corps members who are Chelsea Football Club fans because we had a match to watch. I prepared a pot of noodles and egg which we ate together before we set out to the viewing center.
The match ended around 7:00pm with Chelsea's win over Southampton. We left the viewing center very excited. I got home by 7:20pm, washed my face and prepared for bed. After my very interesting day, I was exhausted and slept as soon as my back touched the bed.

Thank you for your time. I hope to get valuable feedback because I aim to better my writing so that I can entertain and teach my fellow steemians new things
