Aba City Steemit Roadshow Day 4 | We Advertise, Recruit and Mentor Newbies By @uzoma24 (Set to 10% Benefit to @steemalive)

Introduction

Hello friends, how are you today, I hope you are doing well?
Friday 10th September 2021) was another day of Steemit promotion in the city of Aba. It was very massive and explosive. That morning, we met at the Aba Steemit center before we all proceeded to the place we had targeted for the days promotion Abia state Polytechnic, Aba.

We arrived at about 9 am and set up our promotional banner. Immediately after, we commenced a massive campaign, meeting people and talking to them about Steemit and registering those that consented on the spot.

Just like every other higher institution, there were many young minds to approach for the subject matter. Nevertheless, not all were willing to even listen to us. But we weren't deterred, we continued. It was difficult convincing some of them maybe because they don't know much about Cryptocurrencies or maybe because of the high rate of fraud in our society today.

My Personal Effort

When I approach someone, the following are the first things I say;

Hello good morning/afternoon, my name is Uzoma, can I please have a few minutes of your time? Am here to talk to you about Steemit. Steemit is the first social media blockchain network. Just like on Facebook, you create original contents and people will like (vote). The vote an individual can award a post depends on the individuals stake on Steemit. (the stake is known as Steem power, its like the money you have saved away in a fixed deposit in a bank) After the post pays out in 7 days, those votes the post attracted will pay out as Steem tockens. These tockens are tradable for any Fiat anytime, any day.

I will go on and on talking to them even to the extent of showing them my blog as proof. I also answered their questions.
Bellow are some of their frequently asked questions and the answers I normally give them.

How much will I pay to get registered?	Registration is free
How much will they pay me per post?	The value of vote your post attracts is based on the quality of content you create and how organized you present it
What sort of things can I write about?	Anything, but don't copy other people work without proper referencing, it's punishable on Steemit. We also have the Steemit crypto academy, this is a school where you learn about Cryptocurrencies and also get paid for learning, isn't that amazing?
How is it possible that I learn and also get paid?	Yes, its true, the accademy is mde up lectures, and students. Each lecturer teach about a particular topic and give accesment test, after the students do these tests, the lectures will mark it, grade them and the students are rewarded according to their level of performance.
Does this Steemit have anything to do with down-lines and referrals?	No, it's strictly a blogging platform
If it doesn't have yo do with down-lines, what is your individual interest in this awareness?	It is our desire that Steemit becomes a household name, so that we can easily exchange values with Steem as a means of payment moreso, at the end of this day, if I give account of this promotion, I will also be appreciated with big votes.

As usual, those that responded well were signed up on the spot. I directed the two people I was able to convince to @samuel20 for immediate registration.
He successful registered @joyce10 but couldn't complete registering @blessing20 because she wasn't with her Android phone and as such cannot retrieve the pin that would be sent to her email. @samuel 20 will follow up on her and see her registration is concluded.

Perhaps, I have started helping @joyce10 with her introductory post. Which I am sure she would complete at most by Monday.

Follow Up

While the promotion lasted, there were people i approached who had interest but were in a hurry. I collected their numbers and have been in touch with them. I have already directed one of them to our Aba Steemit center for possible registration. I will continue to follow up with the other three and report back on my progress next week.

Furthermore, am in constant communication with the newbies I recruited in the past weeks, @obieme have made his introductory posts and one other post, the posts weren't properly structured, and as a result, we have agreed to meet up on tomorrow so that I can assist him make a well structured post.

Moreso, @benemma have made his introductory post and is set to make his second post later this night.
I will meet up with @confy20 and @bright912 tomorrow to assist them with their introductory posts.

Refreshment

By the time we closed, it was already 1pm, we were famished, as usual, our leader @focusnow took us to Chicken republic located nearby for refreshment. We had minerals and snacks. We chatted about our Steemit journey and successes amidst jokes.
It was a very happy moment, we spent about an hour there before we shared a group picture and dispersed to our various destinations.

Conclusion

Because proper accounting makes for lasting relationship in business, I would continue to provide updates on our subsequent road shows and also on the newbies I recruited. This will help see that they do not slide backwards.

There are still many more areas of Aba city that are yet to be covered, and as such, we are determined to take this gospel to all the ends of the city. Therefore, come Tuesday, we will move again and again on Friday until Steemit becomes a household name.
