SECURITY: is simply; the state of been safe from harm.

To Nigerians and the rest of the world, It's no longer news that all parts of Nigeria are under serious attacks from various angles, its either Boko Haram, Fulani heardsmen, bandits, unknown gun men, militants kidnappers etc.

Boko Haram

Recently we have had a few cases of jail break.
This authomatically means that criminals that should actually be in correctional facilities are now on the loose.
And certainly, one criminal on the loose is a threat to the rest of the society.

These attacks are very condemnable and all hands must be on deck to stop them or rediuce them to it's bearest minimum

Security is everyone's business and as such, we all are encouraged to join hands to combat this menace.
We are hereby encouraged to #Report all suspicious movements or a strange faces around us to security personnels for further action.

Seek for the distress number to call at the around your locality and avail it to all members of your family and friends.

We thank the government of Abia state for the 8pm to 6am curfew she emposed to check the activities of these unknown gunmen.
Perhaps, encourage the government at the center to do more especially in the area of providing our security personnel with adequate weapons and resources to enable them discharge their duties properly.

Bandits

They should also look into reform of these agencies especially the police. More should be done about their welfare and even as they should always train and re-train them.

They should also improve on intelligence gathering and champion the use of undercover agents to fish out those behind these crimes.

Esien udim _ Akwa Ibom State

The government should also desist from recruiting "ex-Boko Haram members" into the Army. We don't know how "repentant" they are.
They can be working against our common goal.
This is because; a terrorist movement like Boko Haram is an ideology, and it's difficult to quench in people.

Finally, always remember that; Security is everyone's business.
