How the Above Rubies Conference Went On 24th April 2021

I want to tell you all how the conference I attended went. Above Rubies conference was a success and also educating . I am very glad to be there. I really learnt a lot. I highly grateful to receive this message on 'how to prepared for a Godly Marriage' from Dr. Chidinma Olukoye. I will summarize some of the things she said and I believe it will be helpful to every young lady here.
The text was taken from 'Ruth 3:1-5'. I will be listing some things she said; She said we should bring our hearts under the subjection of God's word, we should renew our hearts daily.

1. As a young lady, go to the threshing floor; The threshing floor is a place of submission, yielding yourself to the Holy spirit of God.
2. Wash yourself; 'Ephesians 5:4' wash yourself with the word of God, and also physically wash yourself, you can't be looking for a glorious guy and you cannot look nice inward and outward. Some ladies don't smile, if you wear perfume and you are not wearing a smile, then you are not well dressed up. She said ladies be the first to greet, dress properly, put on your best garment, cover yourself well, don't dress because others are dressing, know your kind of shape. Don't dress to kill, you are not a murderer, don't dress sexy, sexy is not a complement, dress for beauty and glory.
3. We need to be humble: when you go for a friend's wedding or any occasion organized by your friend, be the first to get down and work. Don't be irresponsible, look for work and do, don't wait for people to serve you, express your service.
4. Don't parade Around a guy: Don't make yourself exposed and too known to a man when he never ask you to. Don't talk too much.
5. Attach yourself to a spiritual mother and be humble to her. Always have a mentor to listen to.
