Steempower up Contest-Inviting Steemains to power up-1st January 2021

Introduction
Welcome steemians to this first edition of steem power up contest, this is a contest we have seen over the past couple of months in the form of #spud4steem.

However, following the recent announcement by @kiwiscanfly concerning the cancellation of #spud4steem January edition, we thought of giving back to this wonderful community and to keep the zeal of many great steemains who wished to participate in the #spud4steem 2021 alive.

So in 10 days, a special powerup contest tagged #steempowerup with lots of amazing prizes up for grabs for those who made it to the top list. This power up contest is proudly organized by @whitestallion and @steemalive.

The Prizes
A lot of prizes(steempower delegation) are up for grabs for steemains who follow the rules and perform outstandingly. Below is a breakdown of the prizes for this contest.

Standing	Prize
1st	1100SP delegation
2nd	800SP delegation
3rd	500SP delegation
4th	350SP delegation
5th	250SP delegation

• A special resteem bonus of 0.5steem will be awarded to the first 20 people to resteem and retweet the Twitter share(Link to Twitter share on the comment section) Prizes will be sent at the expiration of this post.

Rules of engagement

• Participants in this contest must make their power on the 1st of January 2021, as entries coming in subsequent days will be disqualified.

• Participants must not be powering down their steem either before or after the 1st of January, as this contest aims at encouraging power up.

• Steemit users must have a reputation score under 70 and more than 100 STEEM POWER prior to #steempowerup and no more than 15,000 Steem Power.

• Steemit user has to have a reputation of above 30

• Participants are required to make a post about this contest stating their interest to join this contest before the 1st of January 2021 with #steempowerup as one of the first 5 tags.

• Participants are required to make a post on the 1st of January 2021 showing screenshots of their wallets before and after the power-up with #steempowerup as one of the first 5 tags.

• Winners will be selected based on the number of steem powered up on the first of January 2021

• This contest is open to all.
