Good day everyone. I remain @young~ancient and I welcome you all to my blog. I would be sharing my memoriable events about 4-3 years back in my diary game from now on. Today's diary game 001 is about MY GRADUATION DAY from secondary school.

Like my father will say, secondary is the most important and most impacting level of education, for it is at this level that one learns the basics, ins and cons of everything he or she studies in future. It's an essential level of grooming in the educational life of a person. Admission into secondary school is attained only if one has successfully attended primary(elementary level) school, i.e secondary school follows after primary school.
Apart from educational aspect, social life is greatly experienced at secondary level. Those who attended boarding school have a lot to say about this aspect notwithstanding, day students also have wonderful things to say about life in secondary. As for me, I attended a day school close to my house, I made friends both from classmates and teachers who added value to my life. My Dean of studies back then, Mr Daniel, will always advice others to be good and social with each other and also make friends.

According to him;

The set of best friends, one make are those from secondary school.

I can't forget those words, because at that time, students in class back then we're so pompous because they were rich kids with lots of expensive shits and experience and those of us who had none of those were not even worthy of seating on the Same bench. Mr Daniel made us to understand that secondary school is another family where students ought to grow and be groomed both in character and in learning so as to affect the society positively. We ought to show love towards each other and not despise. The message was well received and understood.

MY GRADUATION DAY

My graduation day from secondary school came like a dream, it's was unbelievable how fast it came for me but I was really grateful to God to see it come true. I attended Jewel Model Schools(JMS), Makurdi, Benue State from 2013 - 2018. Immediately after our last NECO exams, some of classmates and I went to the studio to snap with our uniforms for the last time. The next time we met was on our graduation day which was fixed on the 15th day of July,2018.

On that day, everybody was looking their best but I rocked it in a different style☺. Our dress code was black complete suit with white shirt. I got my suit ready and I made my hair. It's shocked everyone especially mates to see me with made-hair, this was because I barbed my hair all through my schooling in JMS. You looked really pretty one of mates said😁.

Our graduation event was scheduled @10 am, I arrived at 10:30 am (thinking I was late) just to discover that I was the first girl to arrive in my class, the others were make-upping😏 and dressing at their various destinations. According to the program, we were to be ushered in as graduating students by 11am so I went to my class to met the guys who were at the event already. We snapped pictures together (seeing the pictures once again , makes me miss them alot).

When the time was ready, we called to the event and beautifully ushered in to our already made seats for us. There too we snapped our pictures. Our invited parents were present at the event.

Our set produced one of the best graduating student ever from JMS called Samuel Ochepo(one who had 316 in JAMB and passed all subjects in external secondary exams). As for me, I ranked Top 10 in my class scoring 236 in JAMB and credited all subjects in NECO. Sam received best graduating student from our set and I received best well behaved ☺. Others received their rewards too based on merit.

This is absolutely true and your daddy was correct. It gladdens the heart to graduate after spending a certain period of years in academic pursuit. Thanks @young-ancient for recalling this memory in this post

From my perspective, i can say that you're in good terms with your mates. @young-ancient, keep up the good bond.

Yes ma, the bond is very important and I value my bond.

I also remember my graduations day. It was really a memorable day.

I'll also be writing about it soon.

Nice one.... I'm looking forward to reading yours.

Wow! You really had a great graduation party. It's usually one day that friends will have to bid farewell to their beloved friends and class mate.

This was your best dress back then right? Will you still go by this today? Thanks for sharing @young-ancient.

Yes!!!! it was and still is my best dress. I still wear my black suit to Moot Court whenever we have cases to attend to. Thank God I haven't really added in size since then so I still wear it😅

" I attended Jewel Model Schools(JMS), Makurdi, Benue State from 2013 - 2018.
