MY STORY
If there is something that I thank God for, it is the fact that I was born into the Odinma family. The Odinma trait is that they always help someone in need as far as you came up to them with that Problem and they had the power or means to help. I have never seen my Father let someone out without helping out no matter how little.

I lost my Father at the age of three(3), my Mum wasn't in her right sense of state at that point in time so my dad's elder brother automatically adopted me and took me to his house. They already had 4 children and people can not deferentiate if I was their biological child or not. I became the last born of the house, they made sure that I am comfortable in the house. Even as an adult they still don't let me go free, they always caution me. Mr and Mrs Okoro Odinma, I am forever grateful: they are people I see as my biological parents now plus my mum. They saw me through Primary and Secondary schools. It was during my secondary school that they both retired ; 2009 and 2010 respectively from the civil service. At that point my dad informed me that he did not know how my University will be like since they did not have the funds to sponsor me to a higher institution. We contacted my Uncle who informed us that he will sponsor my tertiary institutions. Brother Oge as he is referred to has not failed on his promises, he is still seeing me through school by the grace of God for which I am very grateful.

WHO IS THE RELATIVETO ME?
They are my uncles and their wives. Mr and Mrs Okoro Odinma and Mr and Mrs Oge Odinma.

WHAT DIFFICULTY WAS I FACING AT THE TIME?
First was when I lost my dad and they took me in and another one was when I was entering tertiary institutions.

WERE I HELPED OR IGNORED BY THE RELATIVE?

Yes and yes. They helped and they are still helping. They have proven to me that Relatives can also be a helper when it seems like there is no one.
DO YOU THINK THEY WERE CAPABLE OF HELPING YOU THEN?
Yes they are capable. From what I know, they don't help only me. Most of the times my dad has had argument with my mum because of the extent he would go to help someone out without considering himself

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO FRIENDS THAT ARE BEING SHUNED OR IGNORED BY A RELATIVE?
Just know that nobody hold your destiny, it can be delayed but it will not be denied. If your Relatives do not want to help you, go and work out for yourself, don't depend on them because nothing will come out from it. Just know that God has promised that his thoughts for you are thought of good and not of evil to give you an expected end, so he will always make a way

Thank you @steemalive and @focusnow for the amazing topic. We don't choose our families but get born in them, so anyway we see ourselves we stand strong.
