As a newbie in Steemit, there are many challenges that we face, I don't think anyone is an exception. As time went on and I did the achievement tasks, I got familiar with the way the platform works.
One of my greatest challenges in Steemit. How was it a challenge to me?
In my stay at Steemit, there have been lots of challenges on the way. On ethat gave me lots of concern was the act of transferring Steem to anoher account, powering up and delegation. This gave me a great concern at the time because it was when @steemalive started their save2soar, I wanted to take part but did not know the basic steps to take.
How did I overcome it
There is a saying that anyone who ask questions does not get lost, so that is what I did. I asked questions. I also did a little research on how to go about it. Every newbie should make it their priority to complete at least achievements 1-4, it helps a long way to assist you in making a clean and organized content and how to go about every transaction that you do in Steemit.

@ngoenyi was kind enough to see through the process with pictures and steps in how to go about it. She taught me how to go about what I wanted to do.
What Advice can you give to those who may likely face such challenge in the future
I advice to always ask questions, whatever it is you don't know how to do, ask someone who has been here before you to help you through the process.
To Transfer Steem to anoher account
- First click on wallet in your Steemit dashboard.
- Click on sign in and login with your active key.
- Click on Steem, then on transfer
- Put in the account you want to transfer to.
- Click next to confirm the transaction. You can add a memo as to why you are sending the steem.
To Power up your SP
- Click on the Power up.
- Put in the amount you want to power up.
- Click in Power up and then confirm the transaction by putting in your active key.
I am happy that I have come a long way since I joined in January, my knowledge span has increased especially in Cryptocurrency. I hope with this post, on Evan understand how to transfer and power up their steem.
