Great post, it is true that the SEC is keeping the rich the rich and keeping the poor the poor by telling people who they can and cannot allow to be an investor. Sure, it "sounds" like they are protecting poor and middle class people from harm, but in reality they take away their ability to choose to risk their own money, and by doing so block them from all the 1000x opportunities.
What are they really protecting these people from? Come on, if they don't risk it on get-rich dreams like space mining, then its just going to go to tobacco, alcohol and sugar. How is that a better use of money?
