I couple of Days ago I posted that I was closing in having a total of 7000 steem in various forms. Well, Today is the day. I now have 7000 steem in the form of steem, steem power and steemp. Some in my account, some on steem-engine and the rest on an exchange.
Two years ago I would have killed for 7000 steem but now it seems anticlimactic. When I was a mere little fish egg I wanted nothing more than to be a dolphin. I've technically had that status but without my steem all in one place.. It just seems less important to me now because honestly I can't figure out what you get for being a dolphin other than getting to call yourself a dolphin.
So with that in mind Im wondering what to so with my steem. I don't think makes much of a difference whether I have 5k,6K or 7K staked. Perhaps I should sell off some for btc? I really have no clue. Or maybe delegating to something or someone? I'd love to hear thoughts in the comments.
I'm looking for the smartest ways to keep earning while helping the blockchain and community if possible.
I know the feeling well, my friend. I used to dream of having 100k SP, but when the price goes from $1 to $0.14, our goals and perceptions change quite a bit.
In my opinion, a great option is keeping the SP and using it as a driver to earn income on the blockchain, then keep a portion to grow your stake while diversifying another portion to other projects/crypto’s/fiat investments.

there is a growing Xcel community
there are multiple gaming projects
etc... etc... etc...

My advice would be power it all up join a curition trail and post every day in order to make passive income.
The more steem power you have the bigger the rewards are.
