How to get past humpday? Schedule a 13 hour workday. 😅
The workload is slowly taking a toll on me, but most of it is fun to do because it is work I love to do.
This (doing what you love) is actually something that I discussed during yesterday's lecture at the Suriname Diplomatic Institute. I often use a poster by Hustle + Grind to illustrate the different between passion, profession, vocation and mission.
Basically the central theme of yesterday's discussion revolved around the question if something can be both your passion and your profession. The simple answer, yes, it could be both, but one tends to take the upper hand. If you do it more because you love it, it becomes more linked to passion. If you do it more for the money, it becomes easily more connected to your profession. However, no-one is stating that you can’t love your profession.
My 4 highlights of the day:
- Finally went through all my WhatsApp messages and planned in different tasks and meetings that I had yet to schedule into my agenda
- Had an internal training session with the Ineffable team focusing on how we can improve our Social Media reports
- Had another engaging lecture at the Suriname Diplomatic Institute, as we discussed the end assignment of the course
- Had a great meeting with a representative of the US Embassy in Suriname for a upcoming project which I really looking forward to
Also new for me, I'm posting my first post from @steem.leo as @partiko seems to have some technical issues. First issue? Steemleo apparently doesnt allow #2020vision as tag (must start with a letter). Aside from that, the interface looks great.
Putting the question of the day a little more to the front.
Thinking a changing my profile photo. The old one has been up for wayyy too long. Decided to change it on my FB page, but probably should on Steem as well. I’ve yet to take a professional shoot, but found one with a little bit more color.

Do you have a mobile app version or have one in the making as well, for me that really is an added value. Or would you refer me to Esteem or another mobile app for things that I want to keep doing on my mobile?
