Justin Sun, CEO of TRON
From Forbes Magazine:
Justin Sun is a Chinese entrepreneur, notable for previously creating “Peiwo,” an application that has been likened to the Chinese equivalent of “snapchat” through matching and connecting users by analyzing 10-second voice samples and mutual interests.
The Peiwo app also provides a multitude of channels for users to meet like-minded friends such as online games, talent shows, and live streaming. Similar to the pairing function on tinder, Peiwo has since facilitated more than 4 billion matches to date.
In 2014 Justin Sun also became a Davos Global Shaper and was the former representative of Ripple XRP in China. At just 26 years old, Justin Sun was selected by globally revered tech pioneer and investor Jack Ma to study at the Jack Ma Hupan University for entrepreneurs which, according to numerous sources, has an acceptance rate lower than Princeton.
Justin is also the Chief Representative and Advisor at Ripple Labs (who are also close investors of Tron) and has featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia.
Summary:
The company Steemit Inc., and it’s shared of Steem have been sold by CEO Ned Scott. It is believe to be 75 million shares for 4.5 million USD but this can’t be verified. The new CEO of Steemit, inc Justin Sun has announced his intent to make no changes to Steemit, Inc and no plan for a Token swap from Steem to Tron tokens right now. He has also announced plans to use his marketing assets to promote Steem. The new CEO Justine Sun is very good at Marketing and using both Social Media and Print Media to raise awareness, generate publicity and therefore increase interest in his projects. These valuable skills could help Steem, Steemit and our Other Dapps right now. Mr. Sun has also stated he will bring more developers and finish the projects in the works like SMT’s and Communities.
I feel the information that we have is all good news. I thank Mr. Scott for co-creating and supporting Steem and Steemit this far. I also respect his decision to leave Steem and Steemit in the hands of some one, Mr. Sun, whom he felt could further develop Steemit and promote the other Dapps on the Steem blockchain.
This is the information I have. I encourage everyone to remain calm and positive, as we continue to adapt to change. As we have learned, the only constant is change.

Steemit Steem
Steemit is a decentralized social media platform on a blockchain called Steem.
A very important difference between Steemit and centralized platforms like Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, is that there isn’t a central authority or owner to take your account away from you and your account can’t be deleted. You are the owner of your account. Find out more at this** Link
Steem Onboarding helps you apply for an account and is a series of videos which explains how Steemit works. You don’t need to understand everything about the blockchain to post content and our Onboarding help is available in six different languages.

I think only time will tell. Right now I think we have seen How the Marketing Division of Tron is very, very active compared to what we are use to here on Steem and that’s a good thing.

Thanks for the link to the AMA.
And thanks for the notes on the AMA.
Thanks for the links about Tron!
I was scared this was the end of Steemit and Steem. But now I have hope.
Do you know if anyone from Steemit Inc has posted on this development?
Do you have any links?
Thanks ☺️

I suspect allot are powering down.
My post above suggest to do so as well. We can do more with liquid Steem then we can do with Steem Power. I haven't started mine yet but I'm heavily thinking on i.t

I think from either the Medium Article or @aggroed’s article. The numbers being thrown around are unverified. Tron claims 20 million user for them and one million users on Steemit. So I am not betting the house on the numbers.

I don't use the community feature much but I would suspect all one would need to do is use the community tag.
I know tribe sites post don't show in our main blog section. Instead they're in the post section, a workaround to that is resteeming them.
