“Raising Boys and Girls”

Nurturing children's emotions, physical appearance and intellectual development takes a lot of hard work and long journey be it a boy or girl.

In the process of raising both gender, you must help them in various ways to understand life properly through; effective communication, show them unconditional love, make them understand what expectation is all about as a boy or girl, help them know the importance of decision making and self discipline, encourage independency and lead by example for them to emulate.

Yes, this is a general aspect for both boy and girl. Now, the question is; should both gender be raised in exact same way?

Boys and girls are not the same in physical appearance, they are built differently. It's all okay to raise them with equal rights, opportunities, love, care, empathy, morals and respect but when it comes to developmental process, needs or experience, they are meant to raise them differently.

Like I said earlier, boys and girls are built differently with different characteristics. Here are the comparison of their characteristics;

Boys	Girls
They are natural strong and energetic	Soft in nature and are assertive
They are independent and they value it	Girls needs to be taught about independence
They are resilient	They mostly show weakness when faced with challenges
Naturally protective ( they have protective instinct for their loved one)	Girls nurtures and are empathetic

The main aim of raising kids is to groom them to be compassionate, strong, confident, capable of standing up for themselves at any given time and also grow to impact the society positively.

Boys and girls have their differences in terms of fashion choice, interest, values, strength and personality. Raising them should align with their preference, choices of things or dream goals.

Both gender should be surrounded with positive role models who are good enough to demonstrate great values and healthy behavior during the children's growth process.

Let the boys know that the gift of strength ( being masculine) is not for aggression or suppressing the girls. The girls also should be empowered with proper understanding of using their gift and strength of characters.

In summary, I would say that; boys and girls should be raised properly with love, equality and respect according to their unique nature.
