Contest | "Old cinema vs new cinema 📽️.

Cinema is and has come to be an integral part of our lives. Some make us laugh, cry, feel sad and even argue as they come in various forms.

Concerning the difference between the old age cinema and the new age cinema, there’s quite a lot of difference. I can remember vividly that in the 90’s the movies were more family oriented. They were movies of high standards and they actually help to teach moral values which are applicable to life.

They movies shown has almost no form of nudity. They are very healthy and boil down to things that really happens as our everyday life and they tend to teach a great deal of lessons.

It’s a problem that our new age cinemas don’t seem to carry that much value like those of old. The current cinemas tend to focus more on violence, nudity, Money heist, drug doing, sex and all the negatives being portrayed in mordern cinema. That family matured and moral content all seem to be placed in the shadow.

Obscenity has really increased beyond words in mordern day cinema. The level of nudity shown on the screen is appalling and these are not right. Cinemas are supposed to be an avenue to pass across moral standards across to younger generations.

They are supposed to be a form of entertainment alright and are meant to be healthy entertainment but that’s not the case. The movies shown these days are even disturbing to adults how much more kids.

The modern cinema to a great extent are not even worth watching together with kids. There are a lot of adult content shown on tv. The parents would have themselves worrrying about what they kids are about to be exposed to.

I have even seen situations were parents had to tell their kids to close their eyes so as not to seen an obscene part of a movie they are seeing together.

These really brings an object for concern. These can be controlled through the parents checking the PG (parental guidance) rating of the movie before watching it with the kids. There are also some channels that have parental control where parents can restrict what the children watch.

In conclusion, the modern cinema has really gone south and parents should be careful to protect their kids from the corruption portrayed on the screens. Not all channels are bad though, There are also some good heathy channel out there that one can make do with.
