Power Up Contest: WK8- Consistency and persistence pays

What did you hear about persistence and it’s power? What did you hear about consistency?

Well in my own opinion and from my little experience I’ve come to know that both good comes easily.

To succeed requires a lot of things and one of them is a combination of consistency and persistence.

Consistency is the ability to stay with something and keep at it for a long time while persistence is the virtue of doing the needful and not giving up even at the faces of difficulties and challenges until it works.

Every good steemian must agree with me that one of the things that helps them on their steemit journey was the ability to persist and be consistent.

When I joined steemit initially, I came with so much enthusiasm and so much expectations, over time my expectations was not disappointed but I must say it didn’t show up as soon as I wanted.

When I complained and wanted to give up, my mentor simply told me one thing and that was that for me to succeed in steemit, I need to be consistent and persistent.

I took that advice personal and applied it to my steemit journey and it has worked for me. I learnt this first hand and I intend to apply this in every area of my life.

Consistency wears off resistance. Consistency and persistency pays.

Let’s power up

Powerup we all know is an integral part of our Steemit journey and it helps us grow our influence in the ecosystem.

Today I had total steem of 30 and 2253 steem power. I proceeded to power up the thirty steem.

I logged into my steemit wallet and clicked on power up. I proceeded to enter the amount of steem to power up which is 30 steem.

I confirmed my power up and my powerup was successfully done. That brought my steem power to 2283 steem power.
