Explanation

Today, I will share with you how I crafted a crocodile and a fish using clay. Without further ado, let’s dive in and see how I made them.

Step I

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then, I took green-colored clay and shaped it into a round form. After that, I molded it into the shape of a crocodile. Next, I crafted the eyebrows above the crocodile’s eyes.

Step II

To make the crocodile's legs, I took some more green clay. I shaped the legs and used a clay cutter to create the toes. I then attached the legs to the crocodile's body.

Step III

For the eyes, I used a small amount of white clay to make small balls. Then, I took a little black clay to create pupils and adjusted them onto the white parts. I placed the eyes on top of the crocodile's head. To make the mouth, I cut a portion and added white clay to shape the teeth.

Step IV

1000043258.jpg

On the crocodile's back, I used a clay cutter to create a line in the middle and added several small green clay balls along it to mimic scales. And just like that, my crocodile craft was complete.

Step V

1000043261.jpg1000043261.jpg

Next, I took yellow clay and shaped it into a fish's body. Then, I used red clay to make the fish's tail and attached it to the back of the body.
I created two fins and attached them to the body as well.

Step VI

1000043262.jpg1000043262.jpg

I added designs to the fish's head with clay and shaped its lips. Using white and black clay, I made the fish's eyes and placed them above the lips. Finally, I used a clay cutter to design patterns on the fish’s body, tail, and fins.

Step VII

1000043268.jpgUsing tag

As you can see from the pictures, my crocodile and fish crafts are complete. I then used tags to take pictures of them and captured a selfie with them as well.
