Hey Beautiful Ladies 😍,

I hope you all are having a great time. Today I am going to share with you the Vesak nest I made for Vesak full moon poya day. Vesak, which symbolizes the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Lord Buddha, was held on May 23 on this year. But it will change the date due to vesak full moon poya day.

To celebrate it, Buddhists make Vesak baskets and hang them in the house and spend the day celebrating with bulbs of different colors around the house. This time I will show you how I made the Atapattam nest for Vesak day. Come let's make a Vesak nest with me.

Ingredients for making Vesak basket

🪅Colored tissue papers (blue, yellow, red, white, orange)
🪅 Vesak cage ammunition
🪅 Binder gum
🪅 A pair of scissors

Method of Making Veask Lantern

First of all, I made the ammunition in the shape of the plastic Vesak lantern that I bought from the store. This time I didn't have enough time to make a Vesak basket out of bamboo. That's why I bought a Vesak nest with ammunition from the shop.

After making the cage, first select two square opposite faces of the Vesak cage, without sticking the tissue paper on the two faces and glue it on the other faces. Tissue paper tends to tear quickly, so be careful when applying it.

I pasted the Vesak basket with white tissue paper and decorated it with orange tissue around its edges. First, the gum was applied and then the cut tissue strip was moved away from the palm and the thumb and brought closer again, and its pattern was taken along each edge.

All the work on the Vesak cage is now complete. In the end, Vesak has to make wrinkles in the nest. There, without sticking the tissue paper, wrinkles are made on the lower face of the two remaining faces. Along the square edge, I cut into a pattern and pasted the colors of the Buddhist flag, colors namely blue, yellow, red, white, and orange.

At the end, Vesak curled two corners on both sides of the cage and finished all the work there. I made this on Vesak morning. My sister also helped me to make the Vesak basket. When I saw the final finish, I wondered if I had stuck it with so much patience. Because when sticking with tissue paper, you have to stick carefully.

That's how I made the Vesak nest. I will show you the true meaning of Vesak cage below.

The Four Squares-The Quadruple Truth
Eight Triangles - Atalodahama
Group of wrinkles - Endless Sasara
Up and down emptiness - birth and death
