Can you recall your first day of school? What was the most memorable moment?

Of course, I remember my first day of school a little bit and I keep listening to the rest from my mother often. When I got admission in school, I was very excited to go to school. Because I saw my elder brother going to school every day, I happily brought new bag, bottle, lunch box, my uniform and my mother made me practice a lot that when I say your name in attendance, then you should say present mam. But as soon as I reached school, I started crying. With great difficulty, my parents dropped me at my school and came back. I was not ready to leave my mother. Then somehow my mother silenced me. How did your parents or guardians help prepare you for your first day of school?

My mother and brother prepared me a lot for the first day of school, made me practice a lot how to sit in school. When taking attendance, how to say present mam, when you have to go to the washroom, you have to take permission from mam. My parents made me practice a lot. I had learned all these things very well and did the same. But it took me 10-15 days to adjust to my new environment.

I remember my mother embroidering my name on a white handkerchief with thread and then pinning it to my shirt with a safety pin. Now that I think of it, putting that handkerchief on the shirt looks very cute, but I used to love it very much.

If you could go back and change one thing about your first day of school, what would it be and why?
