The Diary Game #36: Share your day with us! 17/04/2024/ meetup with my mentor and cooking of banga soup

Today was a bit hectic for me.
I had to go to the central business district of Uyo, the city I reside in.
I had to do a lot of corrections on my manuscript.
I prefer to use professional computer persons.
The Guy was so slow and there was a long queue.
While waiting I went to my steemit profile and noticed I was asked to replace my achievement 1 introduction profile.
I took another photograph there and there at plaza.
People where starring at me with a placard wondering what I was up to.

After taking this photo and replacing it with the former.
I decided to go to my mentor @mesola for tutorial.it was indeed a wise decision.
She took time to explain the nitty gritty of steemit to me.God bless her soul

I left filling happy and fulfilled.
I had to go to the market and cook for my family.

Today I decided to cook my best soup,'atama'soup.Some part of Nigeria, IT is called 'banga' soup.
The soup apart from it's palatable taste is very nutritious.
Most people use it when they want to put on weight.
I will also be showing you guys how it is done.

First select the palm kernel, Wash it and and boil.
After it's soft,strain out the water.
In a mortar pound to a pulp.
Boil water, when it's sizzling hot pour into the pulp,stir and filter the water into your cooking pot and bring to boil.

Today I added beef,cow skin (kpomo),dry fish, pepper, crayfish, stock fish,perewinkle, onions and seasoning cubes,salt to taste.
The last thing I added was atama leaves.

I allowed it to steam for twenty minutes,then I

sat down to enjoy it with Garri.
I love to cook my atama soup with firewood,it gives it a distinct taste.
