Joyful Times Are Here

Introduction
Good day to you, I welcome you to my page.
Here I'm going to be discussing about the topic: Joyful Times Are Here.
I will talk about the importance of joy and some of the things that has made me joyful.
As you go through the write-up, I hope it will be worth your while.
Is it important to be joyful? Why?
Before I answer this question, I will like to give two simple definitions of the word Joy.
According to Collins Dictionary , joy can be defined as:
I. Uncountable Noun - a feeling of great happiness.
II. Countable Noun - something or someone that makes you feel happy or gives you great pleasure.
In continuation, joy is a very important feeling that one should cultivate at all times (if possible).
That's because having to live the rest of your days with other feelings such as anger, resentment, sadness, and depression can be very catastrophic.
Every should feel the sense of joy at different points in our lives be it big or small.
It has been proven over time (through studies) that people who are joyful have lesser chances of having heart attack, having lower cholesterol levels, and a good blood pressure BP.
There are also researches to prove that being joyful tends to boost our immune system, limits the impact of stress and pain in our life, and improves our chances of living longer.
In addition, being joyful is communicable. It can be easily transferred to those around you, thereby making them feel joy and it's effects.
Share 3 events that made you joyful this year.
Event 1
The first event I want to share was when I got money to buy a new phone.
I'm an online business person, I provide diverse services on online to prospective customers.
Most of the services I provide are done on my phone. So when my phone crashed my world tore to shreds. I was very devastated.
After much thoughts, I decided to call one of my uncle's and told him of my ordeal. He promised he was going to send me the money needed to buy a phone.
During the period he promised to send the money and the time he sent the money, I was restless and filled with despair.
But immediately I received the money, my mood changed as I was filled with excess joy. My mind became at ease and I was ready to get back to work.
Event 2:
As I stated in even 1, I'm a service provider. And one of my services is providing registered business names for customers.
I had a customer who gave me the job of registering his entity earlier in the year. Normally, this registration takes a lot of time.
But after so much rejections and misplaced monies trying to reserve the name, the entity wasn't closed to being registered 4 months on.
Again I was highly devastated and displeased with myself as I never expected it and what my client would say.
I was lucky to have a very patient client, who was very understanding and supportive.
Finally, I was able to register his entity and give him his certificate. As soon as I got the certificate I was filled with joy. My mind became at ease.
Event 3:
This happened as recently as last month. I made a payment to retailer to buy a good.
On the application I used, it showed that the transfer was successful, but the retailer didn't receive the payment.
After much back and forth, I decided to go to the bank to lay my complains. I explained my situation to the customer service representative, I was then assured that it will be resolved soon.
Thankfully, it was taken care of and my good was duly sent to me.
What are your joyful plans for the last month of the year?
The joy plan I have for the last month of the year is to visit my parents and my siblings.
We haven't really communicated like that in a long while this year.
I also want to visit the less privileged, the orphanage in my environment and try to donate the little I have to make them feel joyfully about themselves.
Finally, I hope to organize an online class where I will be teaching people how to create contents on various social media platforms and build a following.
Through this way they can use it to generate revenue for themselves.
It will be my own part in reducing the jobless and poverty levels of those around me.
vey interesting concept of joy!
I guess we can to be happy when we want to. Hope your plans be great this time.

Thank you for participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 13 in the Steem For Ladies Community.
Joy, no matter in what format is needed by all of us!
I can just imagine how glad you must have felt when you got a new phone as your phone is basically your lifeline. That is how I will feel if my laptop had to pack up.
Best wishes for that family visit in December. I am sure they cannot wait to see you.
