The diary game (9/3/2025)// How I spent my Sunday

Woke up at 4:30am, prayed and sorted out our Sunday outfits, packaged the kids snacks and made Pap for their breakfast. My husband helped me to bath and dress them while I woke the baby to also bath and dress him. Then I had my bath and dressed,all set and we left the house at 6:25am, picked some people on the way to church and arrived at 6:40am. Church starts at 7:00am sharp.

I'm an usher in the church and it's our duty to usher worshippers into the auditorium and ensure they are seated appropriately and comfortably. We have a section for the nursing mothers and moms of toddlers so they feel comfortable to breastfeed and feed their baby's and easily go outside if the need be without distracting the service.

I so much love ushering people into church with smiles on my face. And you see those pair of shoes I'm wearing, it is a dream come through for me as I have been saving up for months so I can afford it and I got it 5 days ago. I'm not a fan of heels so wearing this loafers makes it very comfortable for me and it's strictly for church services as that's what I like.

As a church worker, it is important to attend both services 7-9 and 9-11 am respectively. So after the second service I had to pick the children from their class and drove home.

I made swallow with egusi soup for lunch and served, my kids wanted me to feed them so we all sat on the flow and ate, in no time we were done and the lights was restored so after few minutes we all went to sleep as the weather was so hot.
I couldn't sleep much as I have to study for my examination starting tomorrow

So I sat on a stool and did my readings till around 5:30pm, when my baby woke up and I breastfed him and headed to the kitchen to fix dinner for the family.

So I brought out the left over moi-moi from the freezer and warmed it, made Pap and served as our dinner, we ate everything and enjoyed it then I did the dishes, cleared up, went to bath baby and also had my bath, wrote in my journal and on this platform and headed to bed so I can wake up refreshed. And this was how I spent my Sunday. Thank you for reading my daily blog and do have a restful night.
