Diary Game || My first visit to the Federal High Courts [16/05/2024]

Hope you all are having a good day.

It's weekend and the best days of the week usually I don't go to work starting on Friday. So safe to say that my weekend starts on Thursday.

So in today's content I'll be talking about how my day went prior to my weekend I received a case for 2 days before Thursday from a colleague asking me to help him take a brief in federal high courts meanwhile I work in the criminal department whereas this holy of my works in the civil department so it was going to be my first time appearing in federal high courts as a new wig.

Well there was no need for panic and I told myself since it was an easy stuff moving of motion I was to counter emotion in the court on that day so I decided to study the case and then put out the the submissions that I will make to the courts regarding the case.

Fast forward to Thursday I headed to the court as early as 8:30 a.m. because I was told that the federal high Court functions differently from the state high Court because there is a list that will be given to lawyers before 9:00 a.m. and you have to put in your name your year of course and pick the case you appearing for and that after 9:00 a.m. though book will be retracted so I decided to go so early I arrived the code by itsy and of fortunately I was the only one.

I felt so disappointed because it was a safe what I heard was so different from what I'm saying but I didn't have any choice but to wait after like 30 minutes of waiting the country destruction in and I inquired what time the court seeds you won't believe what he told me

He told me that the court seldom seeds by 10 and most times by 12:00 p.m.. "does that mean I will spend my whole days here today" I muttered to myself.

But no longer after this some lawyer started tripping in to the court I was a bit relieved because it seems like we are going to start so soon today I was still going through my phone when the cake to those that they judge is around and while I was still trying to put on my regalia the Judge entered.

I didn't see that coming or rather that was so fast I decided to go out side of the courtroom and where those wig and gown.

Well the good news is not less than 30 minutes to judge came in we're done with the case because my case was the only case up for hearing and we're about trail lawyers in appearance the applicants the first and second respondents and I was the third respondent so the first and second respondents move emotion of extension of time and I really didn't see any reason to go to that so that was the end of it and I went straight back to the office.

Getting to the office fortunately unfortunately I was the only person on ground so you know what that means I walked my ass out. So we had some files that we've worked on as per legal advice than needed to be returned to the PlayStation the same day so I literally worked onto the legal advice the same day and that was not just the only thing I did they were older administrative tax I took home and it was so so stressful.

So initially I plan to go home by 4:00 p.m. by turn down that because of the book of the wall can shortage of staff on ground I had to go by after 5 it was a really stressful one because in between the task I was really tired but I had to wish Sean because those files really need to be taking back to where they came from yeah but the good news was I never knew I could be so fast working on two different files on the same day regardless of other tasks but this day proved me wrong and I'm happy I did.

So I headed home and it was a very stressful day really but before then I had to meet with an acquaintance in the market she's been trying to discuss some things with me and of course I also do that about steemit. Well the main reason for the meeting was to give her a hint about cryptocurrency but according to her she wanted to start trading cryptocurrency and I had to tell her that doesn't work the way it seemed so I encouraged her to invest in crypto rather investing crypto and watch it grow from now to next 3 years

The second relationship said that she was going to invest in crypto but she needs something that could be upsetting some of her bills and I don't have any other choice what to tell her about stay with an a yes the good music she might be signing up on the platforms so because I don't have about the platform how it works how she just have to keep to the rule and put out quality post at all times.

So in a nutshell that was it about my day not so much fun but work work and work.
