INTRODUCTION

Greetings wonderful friend from @steemladies. I warmly welcome you all to my blog,It is my pleasure to participate in week 11 of do it yourself contests organized by one of our great lady @ngoenyi.

Do it yourself is necessary because it brings out the different creativities from our head.l like participating in this weekly contest because,lt help me to create new things from nothing to myself.

Today my interest focus on recycling, l want to show you all how l use peanut shell and turn into a beautiful home decor flower.

I ate peanut on 25/10/2023,at that point my mind reflected on this contest,l told myself "you can make something good form this peanut shells instead of dumping in a bin".

MATERIAL USE

White Old carton

40 half pieces of peanut shell

Pink nail polish

Candle gum

Lighter

White plains pepper

Step 1

I properly washed the peanut shell and dry it on the sun for 10 minutes, checking on it,looked more stronger before, l start by colouring of the peanut shells using pink nail polish, just to change the natural node colour.

My second step, l cut an old carton into squares, and on the white side,l use lighter to melt candle gum and attached the peanut shells one after another, all the carton.

The third steps was adding my folded paper as stem, l fold in three sizes, making it look like a flower steem which is not always equal to each other and attached some peanut shell as flower petals.

Checking on it,lt look scanty and small l decided to add more of peanut shell to it, now can see that,lt nice and looks like a flower.

Lastly, l attached my username and date to it using pink and leaf green card board. As you can see this Craft was made by two days ago, but l was unable to post due to lack of time and lack of proper electricity supply plus high cost of fuel.🤣

This is the out of my creativity in my hands.l took a selfie 🤳 with it.

CONCLUSION

Peanut shell or groundnut hulls can be used for different things only if you know what lt can be used for.In some places it can be used as a source of fuel for cooking,electricity generation and heating.It is a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to fossil fuels.

Do you know that peanut shell can be used as animal feeds? If you check some components of animal feeds you will realize that it contains peanut shells especially for ruminants animal like sheep and cattle.

I love this home decor flower,my do it yourself this week very simple but creative, lt took less than an hour to you to create, you too can participate in this contests.

About me
