SLC-S21W4 | A proper eyebrow and lip makeup.

I am pleased to participate in 4th week of SLC Season 21. This week, we will be learning Correct Eyebrow And Lip Makeup..
I welcome you to my make up act and my opinion. Please read down.

Identify your eyebrow type and apply makeup according to its shape, creating a gradient at the beginning of them. Also, show and explain if you used shadows, pomades or any of the existing products to apply makeup.

I have a soft angled eyebrow shape slopes upward, moving from the inside out, then sharply turns downward at the end. This creates a clear angle that is visible on the top and bottom of brow. You can see from my pictures above, although I'm not really passionate for making up, I don't like to use too much product on my face but each time l try drawing my eyebrows, I fine it very simple and easy to have a beautiful art.

Some weeks back, I shaved some hairs around it so that I can achieve a good brow while highlighting. Before starting my eyebrow drawing and I wash my face with clean water and removed dirt. You can see clearly the shape of my brow now.

Then I identified the steps needed to have a perfect brow drawn as learned from the course outline. We where taught to consider three good point while trying to get a perfect brow drawn according to the shape of our eyes. Please follow through as l explained and the pictures below.

From this first image, I used my pencil to identified my starting point which start from the side of my nose to the tear duct of my eye.

The second image showed how l measured my highest point which is from the nose to across the iris of the eyes to form an arch .

The third image showed where my eyebrow drawing should end, so I measured from the side of the nose to the end of my eye.

Since my hair is not too dark, l prefer a lighter shade of brown eye pencil to fill in my eyebrows. Here, I have drawn my lower line and then rechecked whether the dimensions is correct.

I draw another line on the upper part of my eyebrows, leaving a space in the initial area and one centimeters away.

I used a eye lash brush, l filled and brushed the blended space, making it look natural but unique since the starting points is lighter than the outer corners.

In my next step, I used the cat tongue brush to give 6 dots which will help me to properly blend the concealer on the upper side and the lower side of my makeup.

After all the process, I was extremely delighted to achieve a neatly drawn brow, It wasn't too short nor too long but came out beautifully and fit my face.

💄 - Shows the before, during and after of your lip makeup; performing the process of outlining them to perfect their shape. In addition, it investigates and explains what your lip type is and what is the correct way to make up and outline them whether they are droopy, thin, thick, asymmetrical, among others.

Research is great things every one should value. I knew few types of lips but after my research, I learned a alot and l can't easily forgot it in a hurry. I have long realized that have a heart shaped lip. A heart shaped lip is a lip that has "V" at the upper part of the lip. It is always very beautiful and nice when properly painted.

This is my mouth before applying the lip makeup.

I start with outlining my lips then filled it with my eye pencil according to my lip shape and blended it smoothly with my brush. I did the same to my upper lip.

I added a lighter red lipstick and moisturized my lips using lips gloss.

💄- After a while, our makeup products may expire or become unfit for use; research and explain what characteristics to take into account to know when we should throw away these products to avoid future consequences.

Natural things lasts longer if not forever but make up products are artificially made with some chemicals compounds and so they can't last for too long and thus have some reactive effects if used the fake products or expired one.

To avoid future consequences while using some makeup products, it is advisable to;

Change in Colour

If your makeup products changes colour to a darker, lighter or another shade of Colour, it shows that oxidation reaction has occurred and the product can cause negative reaction on a skin if applied.

Odor Changes

If a product has a bad smell, it shows that it's time to toss it because it starts to develop bacteria which is the reason for an unusual smell.

Application Changes

If you have difficulty in applying the products, maybe you can't apply them evenly and smoothly again; it means it has gone bad.

Checking for irritation
If the makeup causes redness, itching, or irritation, it is probably expired.

It is advisable to everyone to kindly discards any makeup product(s) If it smells, react or irritating to our skin, the colour changes, the mixture separates, it texture changes and if they are expired.
