Hello there, my fellow steemit friends. Hope you all are doing well. Happy weekend to you all. In my article today, I will be taking part in a contest titled "Choices, What Will It Be". Under this contest, I will choose they are five different words to write on. From the five, I will be writing on Mystery.

Mystery in my understanding is an unsolved questions and the attempts to answer it. In literature, Mystery follows a formula that readers expect. Mystery is an unexpected thing that happens. It could be a crime, a disappearance, or the arrival of something or someone. Once a mystery is declared, an investigation begins. From there, clues and witnessed are gathered, suspects are brought. As the investigation moves forward, it's either a crucial clue is brought or a tortured confession confession. After that the mystery is solved.

In mystery, if a crime is committed, the criminal needs to be caught. If a person disappears, they need to be found. And also, all villians should receive the punishment they deserve. Mysteries are sometimes told chronologically from the time it is being told to the time it is solved.

Life is the greatest mystery. From the time we were born into the world, we pass through uncertainties and mysteries. It is not important how long we live but how well one lived. It is true that the lives of those who lead life meaningfully will definitely throw some light on the lives of others.

In the world, there are so many mysteries. I want to talk about one of the most famous mysteries in the world.

The Mystery Of Titanic.
Titanic was a real story. The world's largest and most luxurious ship of that time was on its way to New York, from Southampton, England. Inside sat many people, big industrialist, actors, etc, who were going to America for a better life. Everyone was happy about this ship. By then, the cost of making this ship was about 7.5 Million Dollars. Eventually, this big ship titanic crashed and sink. Titanic sank after hitting an iceberg resulting in loss of over 1,500 lives. The sinking of the titanic is one of the most famous maritime disasters in history. The disappearance of the Titanic has been an unbelievable story for many. Also the ship itself did not vanish but instead it sank to the bottom of the north Atlantic ocean.

The story of Titanic has been told by various sources, including survivors from the accident, investigations, historical records, films, etc. I knew about this mystery through the movie, Titanic and through documentaries. At first , I didn't believe that such a thing happened in reaity. I was really surprised when I knew about it. The movie really explained it all.

This is a Mystery because the ship has not been discovered for over seventy years.
So here we see that the story of Titanic remains an unsolved mystery.

In my country, Nigeria, I know that they are a lot of mysteries that is written down and passed from generations to generations. Even in my village, I know they are some mysteries, both solved and unsolved and the knowledge is being passed from our great grand parents, to our grandparents, to our parents, to us and to our children in the nearest future.
