The Diary Game Contest#66: ( Spend the day trying and learning things)!

Assalamualaikum all stemian friends..

Here I want to retell about the activities I spent while in Lhokseumawe. For the past few months I often go there, and this time because my brother was going to graduate so we went to the graduation ceremony as a family.

Learning something new in the morning

In the morning my sister cooked some side dishes for breakfast. Here my sister cooked keumamah fish and stir-fried cabbage vegetables. Keumamah fish is a typical Acehnese food that tastes spicy, savory and slightly sour because it uses sunti acid as the main ingredient. The sunti acid is also made using wuluh starfruit which is given salt and then mushrooms until the color turns brownish. I really like this food especially when we eat it with warm rice.

After that, I helped my sister prepare a cake that would be sold on Sunday. We made the fla filling and also the skin of the eclairs and cream puff. First prepare the ingredients consisting of butter, sugar, whipping cream, cheese ,egg, flour, milk and enough water. After that at the beginning my sister made the fla filling first because the fla must be immediately stored in the refrigerator so that it does not sour. After that, we started to make the skin of the sus and creampuff. It took us up to 2 hours to make all the cookies.

I learned a lot here because I had never participated in baking before, actually I'm not very good at cooking either but once I saw my sister making cakes I became interested in trying it myself next time.

A tirring Afternoon

In the afternoon we had my sister's nephew, he was left at my sister's house for a while to play with us. We played together, at first he was a little shy when he first arrived but less than 10 minutes he began to be excited to invite us to play with him. He started by inviting my sister to play jumping until finally we turned again and told him to dance. And surprisingly after all that he was not tired and still invited us to play.

After finishing playing I invited her to take a shower. He without hesitation immediately told me to take off his clothes and walk to the bathroom. She loved playing in the water so I filled the bucket with water and she went in to soak in the bucket. After a while he played with water, I stopped him because I was afraid he would catch a cold. But he cried and didn't want to stop playing in the water. Finally, I picked her up and threw the water away so she couldn't play anymore. After finishing wearing my sister's clothes, I put her to bed .

Enjoying a fun evening

In the evening we took my sister's nephew to his house. After dropping her off we planned to go to Bireun City to try the sushi ichiban that my sister said had just opened. We took approximately 1 hour to get there because we stopped at the mosque first because it was almost maghrib. Sushi ichiban is located on the 2nd floor of Suzuya bireun. After arriving we ordered several menus consisting of ramen, rice, chicken karage and also sushi.

My review for the first time trying ichiban is that I liked the ramen because besides the good taste, the portion is also quite filling for a decent price. But I didn't really like the rice, my sister said that the rice was good, but because I don't really like dry rice, the ramen was better for me. Next I tried the sushi which tasted quite good with the cucumber filling, so there was a fresh flavor from the east. For me 1 serving of sushi is also quite filling and I recommend sharing together so that you can try many menus. Because the portion is quite very filling if eaten alone.

After all finished paying we spent about 240 thousand rupiah for 6 foods and drinks. After finishing we went back to Lhokseumawe because it was already 9 pm. On the way my sister and I fell asleep because we felt full and when I woke up we were already in Lhokseumawe city again.

After arriving home, my sister just remembered that he had to buy fruit to sell the next morning. Without resting first, my brother immediately invited me to go buy fruit because he was afraid that the fruit shop was closed. After we finally got all the fruit we went to the crepes shop that I liked. We sat down first to eat the crepes. I liked it because in addition to the very butter flavor, the price was also cheap. After enjoying everything we went back home to rest.
