Rhino

I am happy to be able to take part in this contest again, many users can show their thoughts because the contest organizers offer many ojek to be presented. It opens up new insights into user participation, and I am very happy about it.

I chose one image that corresponds to what I taught my students at school a few weeks ago, wherein the material I explained in general terms about one of the animals that are in the abyss of the natural ecosystem (extinction). I'm sure you can all guess right, but not for my students. They need an explanation of why these animals are endangered, and how to make these animals still exist and can still be seen in the future. Allow me to provide information to all of you, hope this is useful.

In this part of the world, there is a place where animals roam free to form their ecosystem, a haven for wildlife that forms its food chain from the wild. The place is the Arfika continent which is often referred to as "Mother Earth", which is divided into 5 parts of Africa :

  1. South Africa
  2. North Africa
  3. West Africa
  4. East Africa
  5. And Central Africa

Of the 5 parts of Africa, there is one wildlife that is threatened with extinction and has even been included in the extinct category. The animal is a Black Rhino which is native to Central Africa and East Africa. This is in common with the Rhinoceros that come from Indonesia, namely the one-horned rhinoceros, one of the original endemic of Indonesia. Even the community that specifically monitors the existence of Black Rhinos, has stated that the type of black rhino has been extinct from the African continent. This is certainly bad news that the world heard, these large and sturdy mammals can not be seen again by the next generation of humans.

You need to know that there are types of rhinos around the World, 5 of which are the most known and threatened with extinction. Some species of such rhinos are :

  1. Indian rhinoceros (the largest rhinoceros in the world)
  2. African Rhino (Black Rhino)
  3. Square-lipped rhinoceros (white rhinoceros)
  4. Sumatran rhinoceros (hairless rhinoceros)
  5. One-horned rhinoceros (Javan Rhinoceros)

Many things make rhinos around the world extinct, including the black rhino itself. The factor of the lack of level of concern for this mammal, as well as the greed of some human beings who take advantage of the existence of Black Rhinos and or other types of rhinos was the trigger for the extinction of this large muscular animal.

In general, some of the factors that led to the extinction of Black Rhinos and other types of rhinos are :

  1. Lack of government and world attention in efforts to conserve rhinos as a whole.
  2. Poaching is the first biggest cause that threatens the existence of rhinos in their natural habitat, awareness of the continuation of animal life is ignored by these hunters.
  3. The animal market is the next biggest cause, where there is still high demand for rhino culu which makes dozens of rhinos die in vain. Respective markets provide high prices for rhino horns
  4. In addition, the process of rhino reproduction occurs for 3 years, even with a long pregnancy process, the pregnancy process can reach 400 days to 470 days.

The solution to the problem that rhinos of all rhino species can be above to reduce the risk of extinction which is quite high, of course, awareness is needed from all parties and the community. The expansion of their native habitat in the forest including on the African continent must be widened, this aims to increase the roaming capacity of rhinos so that they find a place and also the freedom to continue their lives through natural reproduction and help genetic science to prevent the needs of Rhinos.

This can also be done in various countries that have the spread of rhinos although the population level is indeed according to the number, but at least a preventive measure so that our children and grandchildren can see animals called rhinos remain in the future.

That's all my short posts on participation on the occasion of today, kind regards to the organizers of the contest. Best regards to those of you who have read this post, may it be useful.

Your content about this very powerful animal is excellent and it is a shame that it is endangered in your country, listen to how they sacrifice them to obtain their horns, I hope the government takes action on this matter and it is true that this way your children can get to know it, greetings, good luck in the competition .

We can only see them at our zoo. You provided us with very detailed information.
