The Diary Game - (08/02/2025) I pitched in to help my sister with harvesting.

Let me share how my Saturday went.

I woke up early at 5:30 am and started the day with prayers, thanking God for His mercy. Then, I headed straight to my sewing machine to finish a dress for a client who needed it for Sunday service.

"After completing the dress, I took a refreshing bath, got dressed, and headed out to deliver the finished garment to my client.As I stepped out, I realized I didn't have any cash on hand for transportation. So, I made a quick stop at the POS center to withdraw some money, ensuring I had enough for my journey.

After completing the dress, I delivered it to her house and then headed to Ikot Ekpene to help my sister harvest cocoyams. I'm quite skilled in farming, and I believe in the saying, "No food for the lazy man." I'm strong and hardworking, and I was happy to assist my sister.

When I arrived at her shop, she was thrilled to see me. She offered me water from the nearby pump, which was installed by the government for the community to bath again before going to the coz the weather was harsh, I took a photo of the surroundings.

Since she hadn't prepared lunch, we headed straight to the farm. Harvesting cocoyams was challenging, especially in the unfriendly weather. Afterward, I used a wheelbarrow to transport the cocoyams back to her house.

Feeling exhausted, I took a refreshing bath and then helped my sister sell her products until evening. It was a productive Saturday, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to assist my sister and spend time with her.

As the sun dipped below the horizon at 5:30 pm, I prepared to head home. My sister kindly offered me some of the freshly harvested cocoyams as a gesture of appreciation.

After arriving home, exhausted and stressed from the day's labor, I didn't have the energy to cook. So, I opted for a simple and comforting snack: garri with pear. With my hunger satisfied, I drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful for the day's blessings." That was how my Saturday went. Thank you very much for reading. Stay safe.
