The Diary Of A Woman

Dear ladies!

How has your weekend been? I trust it is great. Mine is a busy one full of numerous activities, I have an important yearly event to attend today in the evening, so I spent most of my time yesterday preparing ahead of the event. Today I would like to tell you more about yesterday's diary, it was a wonderful successful day, stay tuned!

Morning Activities:

I woke up very energetic and vibrant, and I first of all had a morning worship with my family, we read the scriptures and prayed together. I prepared breakfast for my kids and myself too, while hubby was bathing them after that we ate together, you know family who eats together stays together!

Hubby left for work while I remained with the kids, I helped them with their homework and put the baby to sleep before I started working on my piled-up tasks. Yeah, I got contest entries I didn't read so I made sure I finished them up. The entries were good and I learnt one or two things from each user's mistake, I was bored so I switched to playing mobile games. I got up by 1:30 Pm fed my baby and then showered and left for the market, by 2:30 PM.

Afternoon Activities:

At the market I first withdrew cash at the point of sale then I bought goat meat, fish and ingredients to make Afang soup, goodness prices of goods skyrocketed a pot of soup now costs more than 15k to prepare that is approximately 40 Steems with the current rate of Steem. I bought other food items and fruits.

When I was done in the market I went to the mart to get some toiletries we ran out of well I was speechless when I found out that body spray I used to buy at 2000 naira is now 5000 naira that is a whole big difference in two months period, I picked up some few stuff and left because it was 4 in the evening already.

Evening Activities:

At home, I ate some of the fruits, and then dressed up and went to my salon I needed to install my frontal wig, fix my eyelashes, paint my nails and shape my eyebrows. Thank goodness I didn't meet any customer at the salon, only me so without wasting time she started working and I was done by a few minutes past 5 in the evening.

From there I went to my seamstress's house to get my dress but I branch a bookshop to get a storybook for my 6-year-old Boy, a packet of coloured pencils, A4 paper and a sharpener and then left for her place. Thank goodness she was done with everything so I just spent a few minutes with her, transferred her money and came back home. My kids were fast asleep.

I changed up and cooked the soup and was done with everything by 9, hubby was back before now so we ate dinner together.

I'm a woman, a wife, a mother and a Steemian. Sometimes it seems 24 hours is not enough for us, I always work round the clock, in all this I was responding to fellow Steemians on chats, verified newbies, guiding some to make posts, and answering calls. Change baby's diaper, receive complaints, make food and feed them. But then I didn't forget to take care of myself, because looking good is a good business. I thank the Almighty God for the day he gave women a special strength, we are strong, smart and intelligent! Multi-tasking is our hobby, I'm proud to be a woman!!
