Hello, a very vibrant day to my steemians.
So it's a beautiful Thursday morning filled with cheers, the birds humming and sky is blue. But this fellow woke up very exhausted and weak, perhaps it was as a result of the strenuous exercise activity she engaged in the previous day.
All the same, she has to rise and shine as she must obey the clarion call of serving her father's land.
I'm a Nigerian, and here we do a one year compulsory program called the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). It is compulsory for every Nigerian graduate.
We have four stages to this exercise which begins with
(1) Orientation
(2) Place of Primary Assignment (PPA)
(3) Community Development Service (CDs)
(4) Passing Out Parade ( POP) .
I'll love to talk about each of these exercises, but for today, I'm going to focus on what I did today which is Community Development Service (CDs).
So, we have different CDs groups and I am in HIV/Reproductive Health CDs, interesting right? Yes, I know it is 😁. What will do here is talk to people about HIV, how to prevent it, we run them test, we talk to about everything concerning their health and how to remain healthy.

The photo above is my NYSC uniform neatly arranged while I was prepping myself to go out.
Pls ignore the red, that's not part of the uniform.
Apparently, what we were asked to wear was called a 6/7, that's the NYSC trousers, shoes, her crested T-shirt and her cap. I finished dressing and went straight to my principal's office to take my clearance form for signing. After I finished writing on the form, it was stamped and duly signed.

@aunatev1 is also a steemian and a colleague of mine in school, he teaches basic science and I teach chemistry. We had to go together because it was a general CDs today. He belongs to a CDs group called EPSG, they are in charge of the environment, pollution and sanitation department.
we on Transit to the venue.
The exercise today was scheduled for 8:30 am but we couldn't make it on time due to some unforseen challenges, that not withstanding we have to obey the call to duty.

That's the federal secretariat Uyo, Akwaibom State, Nigeria. That's what it looks like from the outside, it is suited in such a serene environment, surrounded by nature, everywhere was green. Indeed nature is beautiful ❤️.
photo of other corps members in a meeting
We arrived quite late and the CDs meeting has already gone far, I and @aunatev1 just had to continue from where we meet them .
The local government inspector, LGi, Schedule Officers, SO, CDs presidents and others were all present at the meeting.
patronizing a fellow corp member. Photo @aunatev1
A fellow corp member of mine posted on the platform yesterday that she sells luxury bags, I thought it wise to patronize her as I do not even have fanciful bags to go out with. It was my first time seeing her and she did a nice job, the bags were quite beautiful, so I paid and thanked her, it was nice doing business with her.
After the meeting, we were splitted into our various CDs groups so our president can talk to us and also take attendance of those who were present today.

So , everyone signed and we were all set to retire back to our various destinations after chit chatting with friends.
@aunatev1 was my companion for today because we were just together all along and it was a nice experience with him by my side.
Thank you so @aunatev1 , just that he didn't buy ice cream for me because it was really sunny. I believe he owes me one.
I and my paddy @aunatev1
We boarded a taxi and off we enroute back home. We were so exhausted because we stood under the sun for the meeting. He went to his crib and I also headed towards my crib.
me in my crib
I was looking so tired and hungry, I had to look for something to eat, too a cool shower and hugged my bed and pillow tightly for a good nap.
This was how I literally spent my day and it was a nice experience I must say. 😄
Thank you so much for reading through my diary session for today.
I love you all
