Greetings, everyone. I hope you are doing great,I am; thank you,@ninapenda, for organizing this amazing contest for us,i had an amazing time writting this contest.
Do you have any motivation to work on your cooking techniques or are you satisfied with your level right now?
My main motivation for improving my cooking is to learn how to make different types of meals for myself and my family. I wouldn’t say it’s because I love food, but more because I want to be able to prepare a variety of dishes. I enjoy being able to serve my family different kinds of meals that taste good and are healthy.
I also feel that learning new recipes and cooking techniques can make me more confident in the kitchen. Another reason I would want to travel around the country is to taste different kinds of food. I think this would give me the chance to experience new flavors and ideas, which I could use when cooking for my family.
What becomes your weak point when you face cooking?
My weak point in cooking is when I accidentally add too many ingredients. This can really throw me off and make me feel frustrated. For example, there was a time I was cooking for my pastor, and I added too much of one ingredient. I felt so lost and confused because I didn’t know how to fix it.
It’s a difficult situation because I always want the food to turn out great, especially when I’m cooking for someone important. I’m trying to get better at handling mistakes in the kitchen, but it’s still something that affects me when it happens.
Share with us that chef that inspires you to try out new dishes.
The person who inspires me the most is my friend @lewas-write. She’s a professional chef and she is really skilled at making all kinds of food, from pastries to main meals. I admire how she’s always trying new recipes and cooking with confidence. Watching her cook so many different things encourages me to try new dishes myself. Her creativity and passion for cooking are what push me to step out of my comfort zone and explore different meals and techniques.
Have you ever engaged in any cooking competition? If yes, share with us, and if no, do you think you will be among the best 3 if competition arises?
I’ve never been part of a cooking competition, and right now, I don’t think I’d want to join one. Competitions can be very challenging, and while I enjoy cooking, I don’t see myself in that environment at the moment. If there was a national competition, I think I might be able to do well and maybe make it to the top three since I know how to prepare many local dishes.
However, in an international competition, I don’t think I’d rank as high because I’m not familiar with dishes from other countries. But with more experience, I might feel more confident competing.
Thank you for participating…..
Your motivation to improve your cooking for your family is truly admirable. It's wonderful how you focus on making healthy, varied meals that bring joy to the ones you love. Exploring different cuisines through travel is a wonderful idea.
