The Diary Game #53: Share your day with us! Went to visit parents for school vaccination..

In the last few days, I had to devote more of my time to various work at home, so I had to publish a limited number of posts on the steemit platform. Although today is a tiring day for me, I thought I would share my dairy post with you.
So come, walk through my happening dairy….

Today is a special day for me, because my daughter's school holidays started recently, so today is the day when the kids go to their grandparents' house for their holidays. Actually, my hometown is Kandy and it is about 6 hours away from where I am currently.
So I prepared for it from the previous day.

If I usually go out of the house, it has become a habit to sweep and clean the house well.

GOOD MORNING..

So I woke up this morning around 2.30 am. 4.00 am was used to start the journey. Since we have to have breakfast on the way, I prepared rice and curry for it.
Jam spread sandwich was prepared for the kids.

After that I cleaned the kitchen and cleaned the house and got ready. By 3.30 in the morning I woke up the kids and cleaned and got them ready.

By 4.00 am everything was ready so we left. We chose the southern highway to go to Kandy, but we expected to reach quickly, but unexpectedly we had to face a torrential rain.

So the journey was a bit slow and we had breakfast at the highway survive area. Then around 10.00 in the morning we were able to reach Kandy.

After marriage I had to live far away from my native village, so I did not get the opportunity to see my parents regularly. So I will definitely come here during the children's school vacation.

I really don't think that children get as much freedom and relaxation from their parents anywhere else.
No matter how big the children are, no matter how old the parents are, they don't stop worrying about the comfort of the children. So it's common for my parents too.
Also, they show a different affection and bond to their grandchildren than the love they show to their grandchildren.

Actually, now my parents are waiting for their grandchildren to come, rather than seeing me.

So, after spending some time with mother, father and my grandmother, I took a wash. After the delicious lunch prepared by my mother, I also took a short nap as the children were tired from traveling.

After the evening tea we all had a small chat and had a very happy family time. I believe that even though we talk to our parents on the phone every day, in these meetings we renew old memories and retell them and be happy in every family.

I helped mother prepare dinner. Mom's special yellow rice menu was prepared for dinner today. It included a vegetable salad, dhal curry and chicken curry. After being away from home, it felt like a blessing to eat food cooked by mom.

As the weather here is quite cold, the children were sent to bed early after dinner.
