Driving is something people can't do without because as human beings based on our activities and work in life, we are meant to be moving from one place to another by driving cars, motorcycles, and other means of transportation.

According to Wikipedia;

Driving is the controlled operation and movement of a land vehicle, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, and buses. Permission to drive on public highways is granted based on a set of conditions being met and drivers are required to follow the established road and traffic laws in the location they are driving. Wikipedia

Driving is something that started far back in the 15th century when people were driving animals like horses and donkeys before the invention of the motor (the car), motorcycle, and other means of transportation. In many countries like Nigeria and others before you become a driver you must pass practical and theoretical driving tests so you can be able to obtain a driving license.

When it comes to driving physical skills are always required for a person to become a qualified driver. Driving includes gear shifting, proper hand placement, operation of steering, pedal, and so on.

As a driver, you always need to put on your seatbelt in case of any emergency like an accident that may happen on the road while driving. I am not yet a qualified driver, but I am still learning how to drive so I can become a qualified driver which is why I have chosen to be going to driving school.

Tips when driving

As a driver there are some things you shouldn't be knowing when driving your car on the road. The road most especially highway is very dangerous you make any mistake you will find yourself in the bush hitting another car, truck motor, or motorcycle, or hitting someone on the road which can put you in big trouble.

Having said that above, some of the things you shouldn't think of doing while driving are:

• Don't be driving and eat at the same time.

• Don't be smoking or drinking and be driving at the same time.

• Don't be driving when you are falling asleep.

• Drive only when you are in the mood to drive.

• Avoid overspeeding.

• Ensure your traffic lights are working well.

• Always use the traffic lights on your vehicle to show your direction to the vehicle that is coming in front of you and the vehicle behind your back.

• When driving wear your seatbelt and ask your passengers to do the same thing.

• Maintain lane and avoid driving to the other side of the road which is not your lane to avoid accident.

Driving comes with a lot of challenges as a driver you need to be very careful when you are on the highway if not you will find yourself in the bush. Ensure your car break is working perfectly to avoid an a ccident.

With the help of driving you can reach your destination on time and do whatever you want to do as long as there is no traffic on the road to delay your movement.

Driving a good car is good because you will not feel disappointed such as break failure, unable to start the engine, battery failure, and other things which usually happens to old motors, (vehicles or cars).
