Hello Steemians, welcome to my post. I am excited to participate in this challenge which I have talked about "Empowerment of Education Through Women."

✅ How do you see the empowerment of women through education?

I see the empowerment of women through education as a means of making women not dependent on their husbands and a way of making women have a saying in our society than just being housewives. It is said that what a man can do, a woman can do better the empowerment of women through education is for women to be able to be in a better position that can enable them to contribute positively to our society.

In those days, women weren't allowed to go to school (attain education), as it was believed that women were meant to be housewives who would be in control of Kitchen affairs and taking of children while the men were the providers of money, which is no longer as it was before.

Today every parent wants their female children to attain education, to escape being a liability to their husband, I also see the empowerment of women through education as a means of making women not to be a liability in their husband's house.

✅ In this case, do women face any obstacles?

Yes, women face obstacles when getting an education. Sexual harassment is one of the obstacles that women usually face when getting an education in a higher institution. Most pretty women in higher are being forced (threaten) by lecturers for sex before mark.

Some lecturers would always want to sleep with a girl before the girl can be able to pass the course, and if the grill refuses she would be charged a huge amount of money or pay in kind which is a big obstacle for women. Sexual assault is a big obstacle for women in higher institutions.

✅ What is the effect of education on women?

There are a lot of positive effects to women who receive an education some of the positive effects are:

  • Getting married to a young and responsible man

  • They have the opportunity to earn a higher income

  • The ability to participate in decision-making.

  • The ability to build a better future and have a better life.

  • The ability to improve family and economic growth

✅ What do you think can be the initiatives and programs to empower education through women?

Firstly, free education and support can be the best initiatives and programs to empower education through women. Free education to be provided for women who don't have the finances to sponsor themselves in higher institutions, and support should be given to women who are doing well in their education to encourage other women to do better

Any woman that want to be dependent on their husbands without involving in any work or entrepreneur is indeed a lady woman.. Nice write up thanks for the invite.
