Hello Steemians, welcome to my post. I am excited to participate in this challenge which I have talked about "Tell your Story"
What happened
As school has resumed I had made a plan to travel to school together with my younger who has also gained admission to my school. I planned to travel during the weekend which I had made and arrangements with a driver to come and carry me and my brother to my school on Saturday which is the day I had planned to travel to school. the
I didn't know that the driver I had booked to come and carry me to my school on Saturday had the intention of traveling to where my school was on Friday whereas I had already made a plan to return to school on Saturday so I could at least used the day and clean us my room, go to church the next day, then start a lecture on Monday.
While on bed sleeping my phone began ringing around 5 am which is the driver I was surprised by his call at the early hour of Friday which is not even Saturday. Pick up my phone and answered the call from the driver he told me to start preparing and that he was on his way to pick me and my brother up at my place of school and that he wouldn't make it to travel on Saturday which is the exact day I had planned to travel.
Well, after hearing what the driver said I got angry and started preparing my luggage, because I had already paid into his account for him to come and carry me on Saturday to my school which he came on Friday which is the day I had planned to go shopping in the market.
What you have learned from it
I have learned not to hurriedly make payment for services that I have yet to benefit from. Instead of making full payment, I have learned how to make half payment because came to discover that once you have paid someone in full to do work for you it is usually one story to another.
Also, I have learned how to prepare myself ahead of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Had it been I had my luggage prepared I wouldn't have been stressful like the way I was.

You have shared a good story. Yes, it is always great to prepare ahead to avoid unnecessary stressful moments. And YES that's a big mistake that we do. We should always be on the safer side to bear a fair loss.
