INTRODUCTION

She was only 7 years when her home tutor came teaching her at home.
On that faithful Friday, her parents were not around, yet they trusted him. They knew her tutor would come in their absence, yet insisted she gets ready for her home lesson.
Finally Uncle Charles came, sitted directly opposite her, lifted his toe and began to find his way to her pant.
How brave, Chiamaka was only 7 but was able to say Uncle Charles STOP! Knowing that what he was doing was wrong, she ran into her room locking her doors until he left.
Mum and Dad came back and she hurriedly told them what transpired and he faced the punishment.

Explain the difference between good touch and bad touch?

Firstly explaining the difference between "Good touch and Bad touch", Chiamaka was able to know that Uncle Charles leg on her lap and towards her pant was a bad touch because mummy has thought her siblings and she that bad touches are touches close to private part of the body which are mostly covered with cloths such as laps, Virginia, chest, breast, butts, etc.
Bad touch can also be overly rubbing of ones body unnecessarily.

Bad touch can also be sitting on the laps of an opposite gender. (Uncle, cousins, Aunties, neighbors inclusive.)
Bad touch can also be doing things that threaten your conscience and relationship with God. This can be any form of sexual act like sex, kissing or romance.

Nevertheless, good touch still exist. Example are shaking of hands, brief hugs.

What measures should girls adopt to avoid bad touch?

Girls have the 80 percent chance to protect themselves from pedophiles and bad touches.

• One of the things they must learn to do is be bold enough to say NO.
• They must be thought that their body is theirs and no one should force them into accepting that bad touches are normal.
• Girls should also limit unnecessary closeness with an opposite gender especially the ones older.
• As much as it's a pronounced responsibility for a girl to know that it's her responsibility to protect herself, parents and care givers also have their part to play. Which includes;
• Stop giving out your girl children to someone else to raise and if you must due to financial aid, always reach out to her and know what's happening privately, teach her to reach back to you para venture something wrong happens.
• girls should be taught to defend themselves from bad touches, firmly remove their hands and warn them never to try it again.

At what age should we teach children about touch?

Teaching your children about good touches and bad touches from the age of 2years. Once a child starts speaking something meaningful, let the child know that there are ways a person shouldn't be touched.
Please note that every age has a way you could teach them at young age, don't be so vulgar and raw but find a way to let them know their right to body in their various ages until they come of age.

How to know that this touch is wrong touch, express your opinion?
A bad make the child uncomfortable and afraid. The child becomes uneasy around the person and often get anxious.
It makes the child feel guilty and ashamed.
