The market Drama( who is to be blamed)

where is my bike?, the woman asked the POS attendant, i thought you asked a young man to come pick it up for you replied the POS attendant to the woman?

Very early this morning a very serious drama had play out at a near by market where I had gone to make my daughters hair .

a lady by name Mrs Gloria had come to the market to buy groceries for her family.

when she got to the market gate, she decided to park her bike in front of a POS attendant shop, telling her she would be back for her bike because bikes and vehicles where prohibited inside the market to avoid pedestrian traffic and the Pos attendant nodded, then continued with what she was doing.

few minutes after she left a man came to the POS attendant telling her that the woman had requested him to bring her bike to her at the other end of the market. The Pos attendant nodded as usual and continued with her transaction.

Few minutes later again Mrs Gloria came back requesting her bike from the POS attendant angryly, who has been busy running her business all morning and that was where the drama began.

Mrs got very irritated that she gave the POS attendant a very heavy slap in anger and this drew the attention of everyone.

People began to ask questions as to why Mrs Gloria would slap the poor girl like that.
After listening to both parties, people began to take sides.
A school of thought blamed Mrs Gloria for leaving her bike key at the ignition when entering the market and also not properly stating she wants the POS lady to look after her bike for her.

During interrogation everyone discovered that Mrs Gloria's husband had warm her about coming to market today, saying he has a bad feeling something bad would happen. According to her, the husband warned her three times.

Upon hearing this, the crowd was further vexed because this could have been avoidable if the woman did not throw caution to the wind.

As the argument was going back and front with Everybody blaming Mrs Gloria and calling her wicked for blaming the poor girl and carelessly leaving her bike key behind, Mrs Gloria brought out her phone and called her husband who threatened to call the police.

While we were still there trying to make sure no harm comes to the POS attendant the police came, trying to initiate an arrest .

The angry crowd stopped the police from arresting the POS attendant who has been crying uncontrollable since the incident.

When the police saw what the market women and passerbys did, they asked what really happened, and when they finished hearing the story from both side, the came to the same conclusion that the POS girl was innocent and left without arresting her as the woman and her husband had intended.

Mrs Gloria and her husband left shamefully with a treat to come back for the POS attendant. Instead of the girl replying them, the angry crowd replied on her behalf, we would be here waiting for you.

It was such a site, the conversation was on everyone's lip in the market all day and Everyone still blamed the woman's carelessness.

• Never throw caution to the wind no matter where you are or what you are doing.

• Make sure terms and conditions are looked into when dealing with people.

• Never assume people understand what you mean if you have not cross checked with them to make sure you are on the same page

• Be kind to your neighbors, you never might when they would save you.
