BANKS WERE NOT MADE IN HEAVEN

It was on a Tuesday morning when I decided to go to the bank to request for my ATM card.
You all remember the story about the heart break ATM card gave me right?

This day I decided to go back to request a new one. After several weeks. The thought alone made me scared. If there is anything am never ready for, then it would be stress... But I needed to get my card for easy transaction.

The bank opens by 8am , so by few minutes pass 9am I arrived the bank. The first thing I noticed was a long line of people waiting for there turns to get into the back.

The crowd was much and there were several people who were visibly frustrated and stressed out.
Hmmmm, what is going on here I asked myself. Finally I got into the bank, and needed to get a ticket number for my turn.

When the security man gave me my number "130", I was shocked because it was 9am why this number? I thought I came early and i left my baby at home ehh God when will it be my turn? i said to myself. Then I took my number and waited patiently for my turn.

As the minutes ticked by, the line didn't seems to be moving. I watched as more and more people joined the queue, each one looking more stressed out. Some people were using their phones while other were pacing back and forth, clearly growing more and more anxious.

Finally, after what felt like eternity, it was my turn. As I approached to the staff in charge of ATM cards, she said there is no more ATM card and I should come back later. Wait did you just say no ATM card? Arrgh!!!! You should have just announced there is no more ATM cards than making me stand for hours without any result i said to myself.

I felt sad and angry, I wanted to scream at the banker, but to what use is that.
I wished I was very strong, and I could beat all the staff at once. So many thoughts where going on in my head, I felt like I stressed myself for nothing. The thought of living my daughter to a total stranger just because of my ATM broke my heart even more.

As I left the bank, I couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy for the people who had been waiting in line. I realized that sometimes the simplest tasks can become incredibly stressful when there's alot of people trying to accomplish the same thing.

As I entered the bus, thinking of what am going to do next, the guy beside me caught my attention with his horrible of odor. That guy smells like a nightmare. I can bet my money that the guy has never taken a bath all his life because why would somebody be smelling like that.

I wanted to throw up but my stomach reminded me, I had not eaten anything all day.
At a point I could not tolerate the smell and I don't want to act rude and unmanned, so i drop down at the next bus stop.

I got a new bus and headed home, try very hard to forget my ordeal at the bank and the Mr smell bad I sat with in the bus.

One lesson I learnt is that, you can not trust a banker, the lady was just smiling at us, only to do is like that at the end.

Don't allow anybody spoil your day. They smell bad , you change the bus.

Always be happy and don't cry over any spill milk.

I would love to read incredible stories from my friends @alexanderpeace @ngozi996 @cristyshona .
