Good day steemians!

Philippines really had a lesser salary compare to other countries. That is why many of the Filipinos sacrifice being with the family and work abroad to earn money to have a good future. Our salary here esp those who just had a simple job cannot compensate our needs. That is why, most of us just stayed on our parents house because our salary is just enough for our needs. No more extra to build our own house.

After a month of staying here, my brother in law - the newest member of our family- will be going back to Japan where he was working soon. He worked for 4 years already their and earned much better than here in the Philippines. He was able to start start renovating his parents house and was able to give a monthly allowance for his family. He visited Philippines together with his wife - my sister- who also worked 4 years in Japan. And its their first time going back home after 4 years.

After they got married there, they planned to have a kid and deliver their first born in Japan. But our plan is different from God's plan. When she got pregnant, she slowly loss appetite -which is normal- but the thing is that she cant take anymore the smell of their house, she also dont want to work, she just wanted to lay down. And so, his hubby just decided to let my sis stop her work and go home to Philippines so we can take care of her. And she was so happy of her decision and wanted to get a flight the next day. But her husband find a promo flight so they had to wait for a month before they will go home.

When they arrived home, both of them got sick because of our weather here in the Philippines plus their excitement of going back home.

Time flies so fast, and my bro-in-law is about to go back to Japan. Two days before his flight, my sister decided to dine out in Parola in Cordova.

Parola is such a great place, perfect for chillaxing. Weve been here for so many times because aside from they have a perfect place, they also served a sumptous food. It is an open restaurant beside the seashore. So, while eating you really can feel the seabreeze.

The thing was that, if you wanted to eat there you really have a car because the place is too far from the highway. I am not sure if there is a cab in going back to the highway.

We went there after our duty at 7pm, then we went home around 10pm.

We ordered the following:

• 2 platter rice
• 1 plate of pansit guisado
• 2 servings if buttered chicken
• 2 servings of lechon kawali
• 1 bowl of chicken soup
• 2 pitchers of lemonade and citrus juice

We paid 2500php (250steem) all in all.

After 2 days, that was last saturday, my bro-in-law finally say goodbye and went back to Japan. Seeing him hugging my sister freshen up my emotions when my hubby also say goodbye in the airport.

Being a wife with an OFW partner really bears a big challenge but I am still so confident that we will all go through the challenges that will come our way because we had God. And I know, soon, my preggy sister will used to not have her husband and will heal the homesickness she will feel as well as her hubby. Challenges is always present, and its up to us how we are going to take it as long as we have God and as long as we have the right companion. But as of the moment, if I will ask my sis if she misses Japan, her answer is a big NO. She was enjoying here in the Philippines with her family. According to her, it was so hard staying their because you always feel alone. Yes you have bundles of money but it cant buy happiness.
